<p><strong>Veterinary Technician</strong></p>

<p><strong>Salary: </strong>$21.00 - $23 per hour, determined by the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications. <strong>$500 Sign On Bonus!</strong></p>

<p><strong>Schedule:&nbsp;</strong>Full time and part time hours available.&nbsp;</p>

<ul>

<li>Full-Time: Enjoy a 4-day work week with shifts from 8:30 AM–6:00 PM or 8:30 AM–7:00 PM, Monday through Friday.</li>

<li>Part-Time: Up to 25 hours per week.</li>

<li>No weekends required!</li>

<p><strong>Loving Care Animal Hospital&nbsp;is hiring a part-time or full-time Veterinary Technician&nbsp;</strong>to&nbsp;provide skilled care to our patients and exceptional service to our clients.<strong> </strong>Our ideal candidate has experience in animal care, client communication, and veterinary procedures, with a passion for improving the lives of pets and their owners.&nbsp;</p>

<p><strong>Key Responsibilities: </strong>&nbsp;</p>

<ul>

<li>Support veterinarians with patient care, exams, surgery, anesthesia, and recovery. </li>

<li>Safely handle and restrain animals with compassion.</li>

<li>Communicate clearly with clients, including care instructions and status updates</li>

<li>Perform technical duties such as lab work, radiographs, injections, and IV catheter placement.</li>

<li>Maintain accurate medical records and assist with medication dispensing.</li>

<li>Help keep exam rooms, treatment areas, and equipment clean, stocked, and ready.</li>

<li>Follow hospital, safety, and regulatory guidelines at all times.&nbsp;</li>

</ul>

<p>&nbsp;<strong>Qualifications:</strong>&nbsp;</p>

<ul>

<li>At least 1 year of veterinary experience.</li>

<li>Ability to handle animals safely and compassionately. </li>

<li>Knowledgeable about common disease states and able to alert veterinarians to changes in patient conditions.</li>

<li>Familiarity with DEA, OSHA, and hospital safety guidelines.&nbsp;</li>
