Lead Machine Learning Engineer

<p>We're looking for a highly experienced and mission-aligned ML engineer to join our team in a key engineering leadership role -- </p><p><strong>Minimum Requirements:</strong> </p><ul><li>Doctorate in a related field</li></ul><ul><li>8+ years of experience (including any applicable work in grad school) developing machine learning applications for practical use </li></ul><ul><li>2+ years in an agile software development environment, preferably with an early-stage startup </li></ul><ul><li>2+ years developing web-based applications, including web-based ML/data infrastructure </li></ul><p><strong>Additional Desired Experience: </strong></p><ul><li>Audio signal processing, ASR, NLP, and NLG/dialog for conversational automation</li></ul><ul><li>Computer vision for human activity and sentiment classification</li></ul><ul><li>Development of data mining, analytics, dashboards and reporting systems</li></ul><ul><li>Engineering management (both personnel &amp; projects)</li></ul><ul><li>LAMP stack w/ PHP, and Django web framework</li></ul><ul><li>Academic publications, conference speaker roles, or other public recognition as a top technical/domain expert</li></ul><p>Location:  Anywhere in US</p><p>Job Type: Full-time regular W2 employment with benefits.
