<p><strong>Job Summary:</strong>&nbsp;</p>

<p>We are&nbsp;seeking&nbsp;a highly motivated and effective&nbsp;<strong>Public Affairs Officer</strong>&nbsp;to support the Armed Services Blood Program (ASBP) Business Management Support Services contract.&nbsp;The Public Affairs Officer (PAO)&nbsp;will&nbsp;lead communications, outreach, and digital media efforts for ASBP, ensuring clear, compliant, and impactful messaging to internal and external audiences.&nbsp;</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<p><strong>Responsibilities and Duties:</strong>&nbsp;</p>

<ul>

<li>Develop messaging and materials for blood donation campaigns.&nbsp;</li>

</ul>

<ul>

<li>Lead creation of the ASBP annual report, newsletters, graphics, and videos.&nbsp;</li>

</ul>

<ul>

<li>Manage ASBP&nbsp;website and&nbsp;social media content and performance tracking.&nbsp;</li>

</ul>

<ul>

<li>Draft press releases and respond to media inquiries in coordination with ASBP HQ.&nbsp;</li>

</ul>

<ul>

<li>Provide PAO support for blood drives and ASBP events.&nbsp;</li>

</ul>

<ul>

<li>Ensure all communications&nbsp;comply with&nbsp;DoD branding and HIPAA requirements.&nbsp;</li>

</ul>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<p><strong>Qualifications and Skills:</strong>&nbsp;</p>

<ul>

<li>Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public affairs, or related&nbsp;field.&nbsp;</li>

</ul>

<ul>

<li>3+ years of public affairs, communications, or digital media experience.&nbsp;</li>

</ul>

<ul>

<li>Experience supporting Federal or DoD organizations preferred.&nbsp;</li>

</ul>

<ul>

<li>Excellent writing, editing, and visual communication skills.</li>
