Screed & Roller Operator

<p>As a Screed &amp; Roller Operator at Huntzberry Brothers, Inc., you will work with a paving crew in a safe and effective manner to ensure timely completion of our projects. Safety is our #1 priority!</p>

<p>Responsibilities and Duties</p>

<p><br></p>

<ul>

<li><br>Operate paver screed, 1 TN, 5 TN and 10 TN rollers</li>

<li><br>Compact asphalt material using rollers of various sizes</li>

<li><br>Perform daily checks on equipment to ensure proper operating condition which includes greasing and checking fluids</li>

<li><br>Keep exterior components (including tracks) cleaned out daily</li>

<li><br>Park and store equipment safely at the end of each day</li>

<li><br>Follow safety regulations including OSHA and local jurisdictions</li>

<li><br>Cooperate with others in a team environment</li>

<li><br>Accept direction from supervisor</li>

<li><br>Other duties as assigned</li>

<p>Qualifications and Skills</p>

<p><br></p>

<ul>

<li><br>Working knowledge of and understand the screed on an 8’ and 10’ paver</li>

<li><br>High school diploma or certification in a skilled trade</li>

<li><br>Ability to read and follow construction site drawings, diagrams and specifications is preferred</li>

<li><br>Valid driver's license and reliable transportation</li>

<li>Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check</li>
