Dental Lab Technician - Several Openings

<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><p><strong>Lead Crown &amp; Bridge Technician:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Ability to wax and finish PFM frames, including large bridges, focusing on margins and fit</p></li><li><p>Full contour gold crowns, implant crowns, restoration, and model work</p></li><li><p>Perform case planning and design, waxing, casting, die trimming, and finishing</p></li><li><p>Case QC and minor case touch-up; On-time case completion and delivery – troubleshoot case logistics</p></li><li><p>Ability to read prescriptions or specifications from clients/doctors and examine dental models or impressions to determine the design of the product to be fabricated</p></li><li><p>Distribute daily workload. Establish daily production needs and assist in the production as needed to facilitate the team process schedule.</p></li><li><p>Control all in-process laboratory quality assurance standards. Provide training to techs as needed to meet desired standards.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Ceramist:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Responsible for producing the esthetics that our customers have come to expect</p></li><li><p>Responsible for facial cutback layering of porcelain, contouring, and glazing of high end anterior and posterior zirconia and e.max restorations</p></li><li><p>Proficiency in full contour crown and bridge contouring and stain and glaze</p></li><li><p>Ability to produce artistic, esthetic, and consistent, high-quality porcelain and staining work</p></li><li><p>Ability to do final quality inspection of crown and bridge cases with efficiency</p></li><li><p>Ability to match and create custom shades and meet tight deadlines</p></li></ul><p><strong>CAD/CAM Scanning Technician:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Travel to local dentist offices to assist chairside in capturing high-accuracy 3D digital images of a patient’s mouth using an intraoral scanner</p></li><li><p>Utilize Magic Touch software and other computer programs to download digital scans and prescriptions and create work orders to be sent for production</p></li><li><p>Perform Data Entry functions for incoming and outgoing digital files</p></li><li><p>Perform other CAD/CAM functions in lab as directed</p></li><li><p>Provide excellent customer service, internal and external, via email, phone and in person</p></li></ul><p><strong>Denture Technician:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Acrylic finishing: complete denture/removable partial denture</p></li><li><p>Denture partial and Implant denture set-ups/waxing/finishing and overall knowledge of over-denture and attachments</p></li><li><p>Repairs/Relines</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of working with and processing hybrids. This opportunity will allow you to work with the digital denture process and specialists performing the all-on-4 technique</p></li></ul><p><strong>Model Technician:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Read and follow directions on prescription. Be able to understand a doctors’ preferences</p></li><li><p>Follow in-process laboratory Quality Assurance standards</p></li><li><p>Pour, trim, section, and articulate stone models from patients’ impressions</p></li><li><p>Operate and maintain a variety of dental laboratory tools and equipment such as: trimmers, lathes, saw, articulators, and cleaning devices</p></li><li><p>Maintain dental tools and equipment with cleanliness and care</p></li><li><p>Follow daily schedule and production goals</p></li></ul><p><strong>All:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Ability to multi-task and self-motivated</p></li><li><p>Operate a variety of dental laboratory tools and equipment</p></li><li><p>Maintain clean equipment and work area</p></li><li><p>All other duties as assigned or as otherwise required</p></li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p>

<p><strong>Lead Crown &amp; Bridge Technician:</strong></p><ul><li><p>5+ years minimum experience in dental restoration</p></li><li><p>Ceramic skills a plus</p></li><li><p>CDT preferred</p></li><li><p>Start-to-finish proficiency in Crown &amp; Bridge</p></li><li><p>Requires flexibility and adaptability to meet laboratory demands</p></li><li><p>Outstanding analytical, problem solving and organizational abilities</p></li><li><p>Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience preferred</p></li></ul><p><strong>Ceramist:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Minimum of 3 years’ experience in porcelain layering, contouring, and finishing of ceramic restorations</p></li><li><p>Ability to utilize magnification goggles for extended periods of time</p></li><li><p>Team player is a must with willingness to learn new responsibilities</p></li></ul><p><strong>CAD/CAM Scanning Technician:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Previous working experience as a Dental Assistant or lab technician</p></li><li><p>Knowledge in computer programs (word, excel, outlook, photoshop, and/or audio applications), as well as Magic Touch system preferred</p></li><li><p>High attention to detail - evaluating scans to ensure all necessary areas of the mouth are captured clearly, making rescans if needed</p></li><li><p>3Shape EXOCAD experience preferred</p></li><li><p>Possess a valid driver’s license and have ability to travel locally to dental offices</p></li></ul><p><strong>Denture Technician:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Ability to utilize magnification goggles for extended periods of time</p></li><li><p>Team player is a must with a willingness to learn new responsibilities</p></li><li><p>Ability to stand for extended hours and lift weight up to 20lbs.</p></li><li><p>Advanced die trimming experience is a plus.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Model Technician:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Advanced die trimming experience is a plus</p></li><li><p>Milling center environment, computer-based workstation. Benchwork with high speed and low-speed handpieces</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Ability to stand for extended hours and lift weight up to 20lbs</p></li></ul><p><strong>All:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Exceptional verbal and written communication skills</p></li><li><p>Excellent hand/eye coordination</p></li><li><p>Knowledge and previous work experience with dental lab products, materials, terminology, and techniques&nbsp;</p></li><li><p>High level of attention to detail with exceptional quality standards</p></li><li><p>High School diploma or equivalent required</p></li></ul>
