<p>Job Summary</p>

<p>The FMCG Production Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling all production activities to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality manufacturing operations. The role focuses on achieving production targets, optimizing resources, maintaining quality and food safety standards, and leading production teams in a fast-paced FMCG environment.</p>

<p>Key Responsibilities</p>

<p>Production Planning &amp; Operations</p>

<ul>

<li>Plan and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to meet demand.</li>

<li>Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials.</li>

<li>Monitor production output, efficiency, downtime, and waste.</li>

<li>Coordinate closely with maintenance, quality, and supply chain teams.</li>

</ul>

<p>Quality, Food Safety &amp; Compliance</p>

<ul>

<li>Ensure full compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards (HACCP, ISO, BRC, FSSC, GMP).</li>

<li>Implement and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and production controls.</li>

<li>Support internal and external audits and ensure corrective actions are implemented.</li>

</ul>

<p>Team Leadership &amp; Workforce Management</p>

<ul>

<li>Lead, supervise, and develop production supervisors and operators.</li>

<li>Manage shift planning, attendance, productivity, and discipline.</li>

<li>Conduct performance evaluations and identify training needs.</li>

<li>Promote a strong safety and quality culture on the production floor.</li>

</ul>

<p>Continuous Improvement &amp; Cost Control</p>

<ul>

<li>Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Kaizen, waste reduction).</li>

<li>Control production costs and minimize losses, rework, and scrap.</li>

<li>Analyze production KPIs and implement corrective actions.</li>

</ul>

<p>Reporting &amp; Coordination</p>

<ul>

<li>Prepare production reports on output, efficiency, downtime, and quality performance.</li>

<li>Communicate production performance and challenges to senior management.</li>

<li>Participate in production planning meetings and operational reviews.</li>

</ul>

<p>Qualifications &amp; Experience</p>

<p>Education</p>

<ul>

<li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Food Science, Industrial Engineering, or related field.</li>

</ul>

<p>Experience</p>

<ul>

<li>7–12 years of experience in FMCG production or manufacturing.</li>

<li>Minimum 3–5 years in a Production Manager or similar leadership role.</li>

<li>Experience in food, beverage, frozen, or high-speed production environments is preferred.</li>

</ul>

<p>Skills &amp; Competencies</p>

<ul>

<li>Strong knowledge of FMCG production processes and manufacturing systems.</li>

<li>Solid understanding of food safety, quality systems, and compliance standards.</li>

<li>Excellent leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.</li>

<li>Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced production environment.</li>

<li>Strong analytical and reporting skills.</li>

<li>Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office.</li>
