<p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Location:&nbsp;</strong>This is an onsite role based at Nextiva’s Bengaluru office (Wilshire III by MFAR, 492,&nbsp;Hobli,&nbsp;RHB Colony, Mahadevapura, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560048). Working together onsite strengthens how we&nbsp;operate, enabling faster decisions, clearer communication, and stronger execution, so you can make a greater impact and move work forward with speed and clarity.&nbsp;</p>

<p><strong>In-Office Expectation:&nbsp;</strong>This role is expected to work onsite four days per week, with&nbsp;the&nbsp;potential to&nbsp;increase&nbsp;to&nbsp;five days per week,&nbsp;as required by the business. Specific scheduling and flexibility will be guided by your leader to support both team collaboration and individual productivity.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The Senior Engineer – Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) is a hands-on individual contributor role for an experienced engineer with deep&nbsp;expertise&nbsp;in cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, automation, and production operations. This role&nbsp;is responsible for&nbsp;designing, building,&nbsp;operating, and continuously improving&nbsp;highly available&nbsp;cloud platforms that power Nextiva's critical communication services while driving reliability, scalability, security, and operational excellence.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<br>As a strong IC, you will execute complex infrastructure initiatives end to end, contribute to sound architectural and operational decisions, and help raise the bar for platform reliability, observability, automation, and performance. You will work closely with Software Engineering, Product Engineering, Security, and Platform teams to build resilient cloud-native solutions that enable rapid and reliable software delivery.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<br>Beyond execution, you will contribute to technical direction through infrastructure architecture, operational best practices, automation, incident management, and collaboration with engineers across the organization. You will help prioritize work, unblock teams, and foster a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<br>This role is ideal for someone who contributes through technical&nbsp;expertise, hands-on execution, collaboration, and ownership, with a growth path toward broader platform engineering or technical leadership.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<br>We are seeking a Senior Engineer – Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) / DevOps to help scale and modernize Nextiva's cloud infrastructure while ensuring our communication platform&nbsp;remains&nbsp;highly available, secure, resilient, and ready to support the next generation of AI-powered customer experiences.&nbsp;</p>

<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong>&nbsp;</p>

<li>Design, build, and&nbsp;maintain&nbsp;highly available&nbsp;cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)&nbsp;</li>

</ul>

<ul>

<li>Build, manage, and&nbsp;optimize&nbsp;Kubernetes (GKE) environments supporting production workloads&nbsp;</li>

</ul>

<ul>

<li>Own infrastructure automation through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and modern DevOps practices&nbsp;</li>

</ul>

<ul>

<li>Build and improve CI/CD pipelines to enable reliable, secure, and efficient software delivery&nbsp;</li>

</ul>

<ul>

<li>Monitor production environments, respond to incidents, troubleshoot complex issues, and improve system reliability&nbsp;</li>

</ul>

<ul>

<li>Design and enhance observability through monitoring, logging, alerting, and performance analysis&nbsp;</li>

</ul>

<ul>

<li>Collaborate closely with software engineering teams to improve deployment strategies, platform reliability, and operational efficiency&nbsp;</li>

</ul>

<ul>

<li>Troubleshoot issues across infrastructure and application layers, including debugging toward the code level and interpreting application code with AI-assisted engineering tools&nbsp;</li>

</ul>

<li>Work effectively with application technologies such as Kafka and MongoDB, understanding how they are used within distributed application environments&nbsp;</li>
