Childcare Teacher — Classroom Support (Floater)

<p>Do you enjoy working with children but don't want to spend every day in the same classroom?</p>

<p>Discovery Kidzone is looking for a&nbsp;caring, flexible, and energetic Classroom Specialist / Floater Teacher&nbsp;to join our team in Bozeman. This position gives you the opportunity to work with different age groups, support teachers, build relationships with children, and experience different classrooms throughout the center.</p>

<p>What You'll Do</p>

<p>As a Classroom Specialist, you'll be an important part of our teaching team. You'll help classrooms run smoothly while creating positive experiences for children throughout the center.</p>

<p>Your day may include:</p>

<ul>

<li>Supporting different classrooms and age groups as needed</li>

<li>Helping with teacher breaks, classroom transitions, and schedule coverage</li>

<li>Supporting daily routines including meals, naps, diapering, and toileting</li>

<li>Engaging children through stories, music, games, crafts, movement, and hands-on activities</li>

<li>Encouraging positive social interactions and helping children work through conflicts</li>

<li>Supporting classroom curriculum and learning activities</li>

<li>Supervising children during indoor and outdoor play, meals, naps, and transitions</li>

<li>Maintaining clean, organized, and safe classroom environments</li>

<li>Working closely with teachers and center leadership to meet classroom needs</li>

<li>Communicating professionally with coworkers and families</li>

<p>What We're Looking For</p>

<p>You don't need previous childcare experience. We're looking for someone who is:</p>

<ul>

<li>At least&nbsp;16 years old</li>

<li>Caring, patient, dependable, and flexible</li>

<li>Comfortable working with different age groups</li>

<li>Positive and able to adapt to changing classroom needs</li>

<li>A strong communicator and team player</li>

<li>Organized and attentive to children's needs</li>

<li>Interested in early childhood education</li>

<li>Willing to complete required Montana licensing and training requirements</li>

<li>CPR and First Aid Certified (or willing to obtain within 30 days of hire)</li>

</ul>
