<p><strong>Location:</strong> Pasadena, California</p>

<p><strong>Job Shift:</strong> Monday - Thursday: Grave Shift (23:00 - 05:00)</p>

<p><strong>FLSA Status:</strong> Part-Time, Non-Exempt</p>

<p><strong>Job Overview</strong></p>

<p>Absolute International Security is seeking highly professional security guards responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients, employees, visitors, and property. This role requires a customer-service focused demeanor, a neat and tidy appearance, along with the ability to perform regular patrols, monitor access points, respond to incidents, and provide a visible security presence.</p>

<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Act as a visible deterrent to prevent rule violations, unsafe behavior, or criminal activity</li>

<li>Perform thorough routine patrols of the assigned area including of maintainence equipment storage yards</li>

<li>Monitor entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and vehicles</li>

<li>Control access points and maintain visitor/vendor logs</li>

<li>Observe and report suspicious activities, safety hazards, maintenance concerns, or policy violations</li>

<li>Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation</li>

<li>Communicate effectively over radio, phone, or in person with supervisors, dispatchers, and clients</li>

<li>Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, emergencies, and disturbances</li>

<li>Assist in evacuations and emergency procedures as required</li>

<li>Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency responders as needed</li>

<li>Maintain a clean, neat, and professional appearance at all times</li>

<li>Maintain authorized less-than-letahal equipment in compliance with company standards</li>

<li>Provide outstanding customer service while maintaining a safe and secure environment for all</li>

<li>Follow post orders, site protocols, and all relevant company procedures</li>

</ul>

<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Must be at least 18 years old</li>

<li>Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and additional client requirements</li>

<li>Strong verbal communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills</li>

<li>Ability to write clear and accurate reports</li>

<li>Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform physical tasks as required</li>

<li>Comfortable working outdoors, including during varied weather conditions</li>

<li>Must have reliable transportation</li>

<li>Must be dependable, committed to ethical conduct, and acts with integrity</li>

<li>Must maintain a clean, professional appearance and adhere to company grooming and uniform standards</li>

<p><strong>License &amp; Certification Requirements</strong></p>

<li>Valid <strong>California Guard Card</strong></li>

<li>Valid Government ID</li>

<li>CPR/First Aid/AED Certification</li>

<li>Pepper Spray Certification</li>

<li>Baton Permit</li>

</ul>

<p><strong>Additional Preferred Skills</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience</li>

<li>High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred</li>

<li>Security Guard Training Certificates preferred</li>

<li>De-escalation and conflict management skills</li>
