The dazzling Palm Court is famed as the place where the tradition of afternoon tea was born over 150 years ago.</p><p>At The Langham, London we offer fantastic package for the role:</p><ul><li>Pay of circa 27,500 per year</li><li>annual holidays of 4 weeks plus bank holidays</li><li>learning and development opportunities</li><li>uniform and meals on duty</li><li>season ticket loan</li><li>&nbsp;&amp; many other exciting benefits are offered</li></ul><p>As a Waiter / Waitress in Palm Court, your main role will be to –</p><ul><li>welcome guests to Palm Court in a friendly and engaging manner</li><li>provide prompt, friendly and efficient service</li><li>be familiar with all food &amp; beverage items on the menu</li><li>demonstrate your passion in Palm Court and personalise and engage with your guests</li><li>be responsible for ensuring bills are dealt with accurately</li><li>ensure that you adhere to health and safety matters</li></ul><p>The Langham London, London’s Original Grand Hotel and flagship of the international Langham Hospitality Group comprises 380 luxury bedrooms and suites, the acclaimed Roux at The Landau and Palm Court restaurants, the Artesian Bar, extensive Conference &amp; Events facilities and Europe’s first Chuan Spa. The team at the hotel prides itself on creating enchanting encounters for our guests and we’ve been doing so since 1865.</p><p>The ideal Waiter in Palm Court will have –</p><ul><li>excellent knowledge of food &amp; beverage, in particular afternoon tea</li><li>previous experience in a similar environment</li><li>flair, passion and a conscientious attitude</li><li>confidence, professionalism and engaging personality</li><li>ability to think outside of the box to surprise and delight our guests</li><li>excellent attention to detail</li><li>clear conversational English language, knowledge of foreign languages is beneficial</li></ul>
