RF Tower Tech I / II

<p>Capstone Solutions is a locally owned construction telecommunications company seeking mid-level Tower Technicians for the greater Kent/Seattle area.&nbsp; Must be willing to travel (per diem provided) and climb cell phone towers.</p>

<p>Responsibilities:</p>

<ul>

<li>Install, remove, configure and make repairs to telecommunications equipment in cell sites and related systems; maintain and install power equipment.</li>

<li>Climb towers, poles and other structures to install, reconfigure and repair microwave and other antenna and cable equipment.</li>

<li>Operate electronic test equipment including cable testers, fiber testers, battery testers and other RF analysis equipment.</li>

<li>Install outdoor cell site systems including cabinets, associated conduits, and ice bridges.</li>

<li>Troubleshoot and evaluate data related to microwave systems.</li>

<li>Perform power, fiber optic, cat5/cat6, waveguide and coaxial cable installations and testing.</li>

<li>Read Scope of Work (SOW) documents and delivers project outcomes to scope and as directed.</li>

<li>Assist Technician III to rack and mount fixed telecom equipment; assist Technician III in maintaining, installing, configuring, adjusting and making minor repairs to microwave systems, including towers.</li>

<p>Qualifications:</p>

<ul>

<li>Ability to work at heights up to 500’.</li>

<li>Must be able to work outside of normal business hours (i.e., shift work), to include nights and weekends, when needed.</li>

<li>Self-starter with the desire and ability to learn and retain new knowledge.</li>

<li>Must be a team player and have excellent interpersonal communication skills.</li>

<li>Good work ethic and positive attitude.</li>

<li>Reliability and a team mentality is a must.</li>

<li>Ability to learn and retain physical and mechanical installation specifications.</li>

<li>Ability to pass preliminary drug screening, criminal background check and driving background check.</li>

<li>Able to lift, carry, push, pull 75+ lbs.</li>

<li>Must be reliable, punctual and able to learn and retain new information.<br></li>

<p>Preferred Qualifications:</p>

<ul>

<li>Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation preferred</li>

<li>Competent Tower Climbing Certification</li>

<li>RF Safety and Awareness Certification</li>

<li>CPR/First Aid Certified</li>

<li>Bloodborne Pathogens&nbsp;</li>

<li>OSHA 10</li>

</ul>
