Heavy Equipment Field Technician

<p>Purpose</p>

<p>Louisville Paving and Construction is seeking a <em>Heavy Equipment Field Technician</em> with at least 5 years’ experience repairing, inspecting, maintaining, and troubleshooting primarily CAT heavy construction equipment.&nbsp; In this role, mechanics will be responsible for repairs to the engine, electrical and hydraulic systems, among other duties.</p>

<p>Qualifications</p>

<ul>

<li>3 to 5 years’ experience working on CAT heavy equipment products.</li>

<li>Ability to diagnose and perform repairs using CAT ET and SIS.</li>

<li>Ability to read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics.</li>

<li>Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain a professional attitude.</li>

<li>Welding experience an asset.</li>

<li>Field service experience will be given preference.</li>

<li>Successful candidate must have their own tools with a valid driver’s license in good standing.</li>

<li>Ability to work weekends for an on-call schedule.</li>
