<p><strong>The role</strong></p>

<p>We are seeking an energetic, versatile, and highly capable <strong>HR &amp; TA Specialist</strong> to serve as the <strong>Founding HR professional</strong> for our Manila location. In this high-impact role, you will build and drive our local HR foundation, talent acquisition pipeline, and workplace administrative operations from the ground up.</p>

<p>As the local anchor, you will collaborate closely with regional HR &amp; TA teams in India as well as global cross-functional leadership to ensure seamless alignment, cultural integration, and compliance across our expanding international presence.</p>

<h2>Responsibilities</h2>

<p><strong>Founding HR &amp; Global Collaboration</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Establish and anchor the local HR, Talent Acquisition, and Workplace Operations function from scratch.</li>

<li>Partner and collaborate closely with extended HR and Talent Acquisition teams in India to drive joint hiring initiatives, share best practices, and align company culture.</li>

</ul>

<p><strong>Talent Acquisition &amp; Sourcing</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Own end-to-end local recruitment with a focus on Go-To-Market (GTM) and operational roles.</li>

<li>Collaborate with hiring managers to translate business goals into headcount reality, defining "what great looks like" for every role.</li>

<li>Manage the full candidate lifecycle from creative sourcing and outreach to complex offer negotiations and closing.</li>

<li>Drive local employer branding initiatives to position Hexnode as an employer of choice in the Manila market.<strong>&nbsp;</strong></li>

<p><strong>Employee Lifecycle &amp; Operations</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Manage full-cycle onboarding (pre-employment checks, orientation, IT/workspace setup) and offboarding/exit workflows.</li>

<li>Maintain complete physical and digital HR records, ensuring full compliance with local labor regulations and company privacy standards.</li>

<li>Oversee timekeeping, daily attendance tracking, and leave management to deliver timely, accurate inputs for payroll processing.</li>

<li>Manage mandatory local statutory benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, HDMF/Pag-IBIG) and company-provided HMO/insurance programs.</li>

<li>Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations, policy queries, and workplace support.</li>

</ul>

<p><strong>Facilities, Admin &amp; Vendor Management</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Oversee daily office operations and facility maintenance to maintain a clean, secure, well-stocked, and productive work environment.</li>

<li>Manage third-party vendor relationships (building management, IT/office suppliers, utility providers) and maintain asset inventory control.</li>

<li>Plan employee engagement activities, team-building events, and office celebrations.</li>

</ul>

<p><strong>Required Skills &amp; Qualifications</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>5 to 8 years of blended experience across HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, and Office Administration. Prior experience in a startup, scaling site, or founding HR role is a strong plus.</li>

<li>Extensive experience in full-cycle recruiting, with at least 2+ years specifically focused on the B2B SaaS or technology ecosystem.</li>

<li>In-depth familiarity with Philippine Labor Code guidelines, statutory compliance (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG), and administrative best practices.</li>

<li>Demonstrated ability to work effectively across time zones and collaborate seamlessly with global/regional HR counterparts (specifically India).</li>

<li>Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HRIS software, and proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).</li>

<li>Outstanding communication skills, high emotional intelligence, discretion, and the ability to operate independently in a multi-tasking environment.</li>
