<p>Position Overview: The Assistant Foreman will oversee daily operations at worksites, ensuring projects are completed safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include documenting daily activities, managing materials and parts, conducting tests and inspections, and fostering positive relationships with crew members, vendors, suppliers, and sub-contractors. The Assistant Foreman will enforce worksite rules and policies, evaluate field employee performance, handle on-call tasks, address field staff needs and concerns, and support the employees under their supervision.</p>

<p>Key Responsibilities:<br>• Organize tools, machinery, and materials. <br>• Manage field workers and oversee daily responsibilities. <br>• Supervise construction activities. <br>• Identify and requisition necessary materials and equipment. <br>• Coordinate contractor activities. <br>• Ensure tasks are completed on time and meet quality standards. <br>• Enforce health and safety regulations on worksite. <br>• Train and guide employees. <br>• Maintain detailed and accurate worksite reports. <br>• Document site conditions with photographs and log them according to protocol. <br>• Communicate project progress to the direct supervisor. <br>• Retain records related to work performed.</p>
<p><br>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:<br>• Excellent written and oral communication skills; strong organizational and time<br>management skills. <br>• Exceptional customer service skills. <br>• OSHA 10 Certification. <br>• Experience with hand/power tools and job site materials. <br>• Understanding of building regulations and codes. <br>• Ability to perform physical tasks, including securing and delivering materials, <br>transporting equipment, hauling trash, operating equipment, and assisting in installations. <br>• Ability to work in extreme conditions, including heat, standing, climbing, sitting, and <br>long periods of driving. <br></p>

<p>Qualifications:<br>• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a construction assistant foreman or similar <br>supervisory role, preferably in the commercial construction industry. <br>• Strong knowledge of construction techniques, methods, and materials, with the ability to <br>read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications. <br>• Proven leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to effectively manage and <br>motivate a diverse team to achieve project goals. <br>• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively <br>with clients, subcontractors, and project stakeholders. <br>• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and the <br>ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. <br>• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. <br></p>
