Project Manager

<p>Lead line-stringing construction projects to ensure the agreed scope is delivered within budget, quality and customer expectations.</p>

<ol>

<li>Project Planning and Scheduling:</li>

</ol>

<ul>

<li>Ensure the agreed scope of works, associated budget and quality standards are understood by all parties&nbsp;</li>

<li>Define and manage project governance framework and structure including lifecycle stage and decisions</li>

<li>Work closely with engineering and design teams to develop comprehensive project plans, construction schedules, and timelines.</li>

<li>Collaborate with project stakeholders to gather and document project requirements, objectives, and deliverables.</li>

<li>Conduct site inspections and reconnaissance to determine equipment and resource requirements and whether standard construction procedures are fit for purpose. Facilitate solutioning to resolve any issues and risks identified.</li>

<li>Develop detailed construction project plans, including work breakdown structures (WBS), timelines, milestones, and critical path analysis.</li>

<li>Create and maintain project schedules using appropriate project management tools and software.</li>

<li>Continuously monitor project progress and compare it against established project plans, making adjustments as necessary.</li>

<li>Complete project status reports as required by project sponsor and Program Management Office.</li>

<li>Resource Coordination:</li>

</ol>

<ul>

<li>Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials, equipment, and resources required for construction activities.</li>

<li>Manage resource allocation, including labour, subcontractors, and equipment, to optimise project efficiency.</li>

</ul>

<ol>

<li>Issues and Risk Management:</li>

</ol>

<ul>

<li>Facilitate the timely resolution of or escalation project issues as per the agreed governance structure.</li>

<li>Identify potential risks related to construction challenges, regulatory compliance, weather impacts, and other external factors</li>

<li>Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential challenges.</li>

<li>Implement risk management processes and ensure proactive measures are taken to address identified risks.</li>

</ul>

<ol>

<li>Cross-functional Collaboration:</li>

</ol>

<ul>

<li>Collaborate with customer and principal contractor project teams, including team leads, and subject matter experts, to ensure alignment and integration of construction plans.</li>

<li>Liaise with internal teams, contractors, regulatory authorities, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and expectations.</li>

<li>Coordinate resources and manage dependencies to ensure smooth project execution.</li>

</ul>

<ol>

<li>Quality and Safety Compliance:</li>

</ol>

<li>Ensure compliance with industry-specific quality standards, safety protocols, and environmental regulations.</li>

<li>Collaborate with safety officers and quality control teams to maintain a safe and high-quality construction environment.</li>

</ul>

<li>Documentation and Reporting:</li>

</ol>

<ul>

<li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including project plans, schedules, status reports, and meeting minutes.</li>

<li>Generate regular progress reports and updates for relevant stakeholders, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and proposed solutions.</li>

</ul>

<li>Continuous Improvement:</li>

</ol>

<li>Lead project post-mortems to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.</li>

<li>Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices, processes, and templates to enhance overall project management.</li>
