Employer: Amazon Data Services, Inc.<br>Position: Cloud Hardware Dev Engr III - AMZ24981.2<br>Location: Seattle, WA<br><br>Multiple Positions Available:<br><br>The AWS Cloud Hardware Development Engineering position involves<br>end-to-end ownership of designing and operating a new segment of<br>accelerated servers for AWS infrastructure. The role requires<br>developing server boards, managing third-party ODMs, integrating<br>hardware components and firmware/software stacks, and ensuring<br>high-quality designs. Key responsibilities include working with<br>customers to understand technical needs, collaborating with<br>interdisciplinary teams of engineers, leading design and manufacturing<br>partners, troubleshooting systemic hardware issues, implementing<br>corrective actions, and monitoring fleet performance post-launch. Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field. Must have the following experience:<br>Seven years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.<br>Seven years of experience developing functional specifications, design verification plans, and test procedures and experience working with interdisciplinary teams throughout the product<br>lifecycle.<br>Seven years of experience with server, networking, or large-scale distributed system and corresponding technologies including thermal, mechanical, power, and signal integrity.<br>Seven years of experience in hardware development focused on system/server architecture and leading technical projects<br><br>The pay range for this position in Seattle, WA is $209997 - $215300 (yr); however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. This information is provided by Washington Equal Pay Act. Base pay information is based on market location.
