Sustainability Business Lead

<p>As Sustainability Business Lead, you play a key role in translating sustainability ambitions into commercially viable solutions. You identify opportunities across the value chain, develop business cases and help embed sustainability into our commercial strategy.</p><ul><li>Co-developing and implementing Aviko’s commercial sustainability strategy.</li><li>Translating sustainability ambitions into customer-focused value propositions.</li><li>Building business cases that demonstrate both commercial and sustainability value.</li><li>Identifying opportunities where sustainability strengthens customer relationships, competitiveness and business growth.</li><li>Supporting the Sales organisation in customer conversations, tenders and strategic accounts.</li><li>Bringing together colleagues from Marketing, Sales, Agro, Procurement and Supply Chain to drive cross-functional initiatives.</li><li>Managing sustainability projects from concept through implementation.</li><li>Sharing knowledge and best practices to further embed sustainability throughout the organisation.</li><li>Collaborating with Royal Cosun colleagues to develop shared approaches and commercial opportunities.</li></ul>

<p>You are commercially minded, proactive and enjoy connecting people, ideas and opportunities. You combine strategic thinking with a hands-on mentality and know how to turn ideas into results.</p><p>You also bring:</p><ul><li>A Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Sustainability, Agri &amp; Food or a related field.</li><li>Around 3–5 years of experience in business development, commercial strategy or value chain management.</li><li>A strong affinity with sustainability and the ambition to further develop your expertise in this field.</li><li>Experience developing business cases and commercial propositions.</li><li>Strong project management skills.</li><li>Experience working in cross-functional, international environments.</li><li>Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.</li><li>Fluency in English. Dutch is preferred and German is considered a plus.</li></ul><p>Experience with topics such as climate, regenerative agriculture, Scope 3 or circularity is an advantage.</p>
