<h2>Standard Job Description</h2>

<p>Implements and maintains smooth operation and physical design of databases. Reviews database design and integration of systems, provides backup recovery and makes recommendations regarding enhancements and/or improvements. Maintains security and integrity controls. Formulates policies, procedures, and standards relating to database management, and monitors transaction activity and utilization. Responsibilities include: database loading; development and management of operational procedures; environment management; database health (e.g. monitoring, proactive and reactive responses); resource planning; database upgrade planning; backup and recovery strategy planning and implementation; environment transition planning (development, test, stage, production).</p><p>Candidate will support the IAMD PAC-3 Post Production and Sustainment Operations – OASAS Database team as a Database Administrator (DBA). &nbsp;Responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing data. The DBA will draw insights from data, and translates those insights into action. &nbsp;Implements data changes, updates, correction, and validation and auditing checks. Makes recommendations regarding enhancements and/or improvements to design based on operational experience, user/stakeholder feedback, and requirements by the program and customer. &nbsp;<br>Coordinate with multiple disciplines on the program in development of program-specific requirements through working groups. &nbsp;Serve as program point of contact with customer as well as with LMMFC IT department. &nbsp;Communicate requirements to IT department for implementation. &nbsp;Ensure database functionality is sufficient to meet program and customer needs through validation testing of changes.&nbsp;<br>Responsibilities include, but not limited to: database loading; development and management of operational procedures; environment management; database health (e.g. monitoring, proactive and reactive responses); resource planning; environment transition planning (development, test, stage, production).</p><h2>Basic Qualifications</h2>

<p>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline. Preference in computer science/software, analytics/statistics related degree.&nbsp;<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Security Clearance – Ability to obtain Secret clearance; not required to start, but must obtain to retain employment<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Effective communication skills including written, verbal, listening, technical writing and presentations.&nbsp;<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Comprehensive understanding and functionality of Microsoft Office Suite (Power Point, Excel, etc…)<br>•&nbsp; &nbsp; Detail oriented<br><br><br></p><h2>Desired Skills</h2>

<p>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Experience with SAP, version control systems (Git, Gitlab, etc)</p><p>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Experience with Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint etc...)</p><p>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Experience with programming language(s) (Python, Java, C#, R, etc)</p><p>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Experience with and proficiency in SQL dialects</p><p><strong>Pay Information</strong></p><p>Full-Time Salary Range: $58200.00 - $108200.00</p><p>At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.</li></ul>
