The Opportunity:

You'll support high impact offensive cyber missions by developing advanced cyber capabilities and conducting deep vulnerability research across diverse platforms. You'll apply subject matter expertise in reverse engineering, exploit development, and platform specific analysis to identify, analyze, and utilize unknown software vulnerabilities. This role contributes directly to mission critical, highly impactful national objectives, offering the opportunity to work on challenging problems that require innovative thinking, autonomy, and technical excellence.

 

As an Offensive Cyber Developer, you will design and develop offensive cyber capabilities, perform hands on vulnerability research, and execute detailed software reverse engineering across a range of technologies. You will analyze complex systems, discover and exploit zero day vulnerabilities, support exploit development, and build bespoke tooling used by operators and analysts.

You Have:

• 4+ years of experience as a SME in a core platform area, including Windows, Linux, Mobile, or Infrastructure
• 4+ years of experience in software development, including Python and C
• Experience developing or maintaining offensive cyber tools
• Experience with software reverse engineering with tools such as Ghidra
• Experience with vulnerability research, including fuzzing as a foundational technique
• Ability to identify, analyze, and exploit software vulnerabilities
• Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
• HS diploma or GED

 

Nice If You Have:

• Experience discovering zero day vulnerabilities
• Experience with programming in Rust or Ruby
• Experience with AI assisted development such as AI accelerated coding, exploit primitive identification, and chaining support
• Experience supporting offensive cyber missions in military, agencies, or similar environments
• Experience working within multidisciplinary offensive cyber teams

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $112,800.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
