<p>You will be the&nbsp;<strong>Cyber System Security Engineer Associate</strong>&nbsp;for the Program Protection Organization. Our team develops subsystems that protect sensitive technology and data across Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What You Will Be Doing</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>As the Cyber System Security Engineer Associate, you will be responsible for defining system functionality, designing anti‑tamper and cyber‑security features, and supporting model‑based systems‑engineering activities.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:</p><ul><li>Define system states, modes, and anti‑tamper/cyber‑security design features for critical subsystems.</li><li>Develop model‑based systems‑engineering diagrams and timing assessments to characterize system behavior for target use cases.</li><li>Participate in requirements development, trade studies, implementation, and documentation of anti‑tamper solutions.</li><li>Assist in creating and maintaining Program Protection Implementation Plans and related artifacts.</li><li>Coordinate with program leadership, subcontractors, customers, and government review teams to address technical and programmatic risks.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Why Join Us</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>We are looking for a collaborative, purpose‑driven professional who thrives on protecting mission‑critical assets and advancing cutting‑edge cyber‑security solutions. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim secret clearance is required to start.</p><h2>Basic Qualifications</h2>

<ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related major</li><li>Must have Interim SECRET Clearance to start</li><li>Experience with cybersecurity toolsets. This may include work with penetration testing, Nessus, Nmap, Wireshark, Metasploit, or similar skillsets</li><li>Familiarity or interest in the fields of cybersecurity. This may include system design and/or vulnerability assessment</li></ul><h2>Desired Skills</h2>

<ul><li>Experience with software assurance: Coverity and Fortify highly preferred</li><li>Experience with operating systems: Kali Linux (preferred), Windows, etc.</li><li>Experience implementing cybersecurity requirements</li><li>Experience with hardening operating systems</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Experience delivering written / oral presentations to program personnel and customers.</li><li>Ability to think critically to find optimal approaches to difficult design issues.</li><li>Active clearance required, within scope if possible</li></ul><p><strong>Pay Information</strong></p><p>Full-Time Salary Range: $67000.00 - $124400.00</p><p>At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.</li><li>For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.</li></ul>
