Jr. RF Engineer

<p>As a Jr. RF Engineer, you will be responsible for product design, development, and support. Responsibilities include designing new products from concept to full production for Satellite Communication, Navigation, 5G, and advanced phased array systems. </p>

<p>The position is based in Germantown, MD.</p>

<p>YOUR WORK AT MAXTENA WILL INCLUDE:</p>

<ul>

<li><br>Design of new products from concept to full production for Satellite Communication, Navigation, 5G, and advanced phased array systems</li>

<li><br>Define RF architecture for new products and select/qualify components</li>

<li><br>Construct hardware prototype and testing</li>

<li><br>Collaborate with layout and PCB engineers</li>

<li><br>Setup/define automated testing for validation/verification and production testing</li>

<li><br>Support manufacturing team and troubleshooting</li>

<li><br>Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales and other technical teams</li>

</ul>

<p>REQUIREMENTS:</p>

<ul>

<li><br>Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance</li>

<li><br>1-5 years of experience</li>

<li><br>S. in Electrical Engineering, MSEE preferred</li>

<li><br>Demonstrated experience in RF circuit design and measurement</li>

<li><br>Demonstrated experience in front-end radio architecture implementation</li>

<li><br>Discrete RF component design (LNA, filters, mixers, analog control circuits, passive microwave structures, impedance matching networks)</li>

<li><br>Demonstrated experience with GPS/GNSS receivers, Satellite transceivers, and cellular transceivers is a major plus</li>

<li><br>Highly familiar with VNAs, Spec Analyzers, Sig Gens, Noise-figure test &amp; oscilloscope</li>

<li><br>Detailed simulation experience with ADS, CST, or Microwave office for linear &amp; nonlinear modeling</li>

<li><br>Previous work with PCB design including schematic capture, layout &amp; fabrication processes</li>

<li><br>Knowledge of compliance/qualification to meet FCC, ETSI, and MIL standards</li>
