Aerial Lineman

<p>Michigan Broadband Services is a growing provider of high-speed communications services. &nbsp;We are hiring Aerial Lineman to support expanding fiber network construction.</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<p>The Fiber Aerial Lineman is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of overhead fiber optic cable systems on utility poles.&nbsp; Work is performed outdoors at heights and across multiple job sites.&nbsp;</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<p>This role requires regular travel, including extended overnight stays throughout Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, as well as overtime and weekend work.</p>

<p>Duties and Responsibilities</p>

<ul>

<li>Install, lash, and secure fiber optic cable on aerial structures</li>

<li>Perform pole transfers and strand construction</li>

<li>Read and interpret prints and work orders</li>

<li>Operate bucket trucks and climbing equipment safely</li>

<li>Maintain proper cable tension and sag</li>

<li>Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair fiber lines</li>

<li>Follow safety standards and PPE requirements</li>

<li>Complete daily production reports and work with crew members</li>

</ul>

<p>Qualifications</p>

<ul>

<li>Valid Class A CDL Required</li>

<li>1+ year of aerial or related experience preferred</li>

<li>Ability to work at heights and in all weather conditions</li>

<li>Basic knowledge of fiber installation practices</li>

<li>Ability to read construction prints and follow directions</li>

<li>Strong work ethic and reliability</li>
