Outpatient Therapist - Contractual

<p>This contract therapist role will provide outpatient clinical services including psycho-social assessments, treatment planning, and discharge/aftercare planning activities and provision of individual, group, or family sessions to be scheduled based on client needs.</p><p>&nbsp;<br><strong>Activities of this OutPatient Therapist include:</strong><br><br></p><ul><li>Performing admission, assessment, and discharge functions.</li><li>Preparing evaluation of client treatment needs.</li><li>Preparing client initial and master treatment plans as appropriate, participate in CCM/TPR.</li><li>Conducting individual and/or group and/or family counseling as appropriate.</li><li>Conducting education and training regarding aspects of substance abuse.</li><li>Preparing/submitting reports in accordance with state, agency, referral and CARF program requirements.</li><li>Obtaining/monitoring funding authorizations from the state and insurance companies.</li><li>Ability to recruit, engage and retain clients.</li><li>Maintaining professional relationships with referral sources.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;<br><br></p>

<ul><li>Master’s degree&nbsp;in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field required; MSW preferred.</li><li>Current Certified Advanced Addictions and Drug (CAADC) credential a plus!.</li><li>Must have licensure with the State of Michigan: Licensed Masters Social Worker preferred, Licensed Professional Counselor or Psychologist, Limited Licensed Masters Social Worker, Limited Licensed Professional Counselor, or Masters Limited Psychologist considered.</li><li>3 years of professional experience</li><li>Must be available for evening clinic hours and occassional Saturdays.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Desired Competencies:</b></p><ul><li>Strong clinical skills and ability to engage in positive therapeutic relationships with clients, staff, and community/agency representatives required.</li><li>Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.&nbsp;</li><li>Excellent oral and written communications skills, ability to operate computer equipment.</li><li>Working knowledge of the system of services needed to address client needs.</li></ul>
