<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong><strong>:</strong></p>

<p>Strategic Operations & Lane Management</p>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Lead network optimization initiatives by developing and managing high-density OTR lanes to balance headhaul and backhaul freight, reduce empty miles, and improve overall network efficiency.</p>
</li>

<p>Design and execute capacity strategies by building and maintaining a core network of vetted, high-performing carriers to ensure consistent service levels and operational reliability.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Source, evaluate, and onboard strategic carrier partners for high-volume and core lanes within a non-asset OTR brokerage environment.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Serve as the primary escalation point for complex transportation and transit issues, including equipment failures, weather-related disruptions, service exceptions, and freight claims resolution.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) and Microsoft Office applications to monitor lane performance, carrier utilization, and operational KPIs.</p>

<p>Regulatory & Safety Compliance</p>

Ensure all carrier partners meet FMCSA regulations and internal carrier qualification standards through comprehensive vetting and compliance oversight.</li>
<li>Develop and oversee advanced identity verification (IDV) and fraud-prevention procedures to mitigate risks associated with double-brokering, cargo theft, and fraudulent carrier activity.<br><br></li>
<li>Maintain operational compliance standards while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across carrier management and brokerage operations.

<p><strong>Qualifications</strong><strong>:</strong></p>
<ul>

<ul>
<li>10+ years of experience in logistics or transportation, including at least 7 years in a leadership or management role within a non-asset OTR brokerage environment.</li>
<li>Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.</li>
<li>Strong proficiency with transportation management systems (TMS) and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and reporting tools.</li>
<li>Demonstrated expertise in carrier sourcing, lane management, network optimization, and brokerage operations.</li>
<li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and escalation management skills in fast-paced transportation environments.</li>
<li>Ability to work weekends and flexible schedules as required by business demands and operational workload.</li>
