Licensed Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor

<p><strong>Energetic, caring and open minded clinicians with a passion for caring. Candidates will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a therapeutic relationship with the clients they see for individual, family or group&nbsp;therapy in person and through telemedicine.&nbsp;&nbsp;While doing this they&nbsp;would also be able to the following:</strong></p><ul><li>Provide&nbsp;a therapeutic environment that engages and encourages clients&nbsp;to participate in&nbsp;sessions to address various issues.&nbsp;</li><li>Support, encourage, and promote mental health&nbsp;stability and well-being.</li><li>Supports&nbsp;clients in obtaining a reality-based perspective of their environment by helping to correct obvious distortions.</li><li>Supports&nbsp;clients in the development of social supports including friends, family, members of the community, and&nbsp;service providers in order to promote positive interactions.</li><li>Supports&nbsp;clients&nbsp;in establishing and developing self-esteem by identifying existing and emerging positive characteristics, traits, and contributions.</li><li>Provides a culturally sensitive therapeutic milieu that allows clients&nbsp;to identify and deal with their specific concerns.</li><li>Supports&nbsp;clients in the development of communication skills, social skills, problem-solving skills, and coping skills.</li><li>Supports clients in identifying and meeting basic needs including, medical and psychiatric care, etc.</li><li>Participates as a member of a multidisciplinary treatment team.</li></ul><p>Will provide documentation for all services provided.&nbsp; Documentation will be submitted in our Electronic Health Record in a timely manner.</p><p>Will participate in activities and other duties as assigned&nbsp;</p><ul></ul><p>Experience in at least one of the following modalities:</p><ul><li><strong>Cognitive Behavioral Therapy</strong>.</li><li><strong>Dialectical Behavior Therapy</strong></li><li><strong>Motivational Interviewing</strong>.&nbsp;</li><li><strong>Sand Tray Therapy</strong>.&nbsp;</li><li><strong>Art Therapy</strong>.</li><li>and other treatment modalities</li></ul><p>Individuals must be independently licensed in Maryland, DC or Virginia to provide therapy/counseling services.
