Amazon's Career Choice program is one of the company's most visible investments in employee upskilling- prepaying tuition, offering upskilling and creating career pathways for hundreds of thousands of associates across 16 countries. We are looking for a Sr. Marketing Manager to serve as the single-threaded owner of all Career Choice content, communications, and global marketing campaigns. This role reports to the Director of Career Choice in Seattle, WA.<br><br>As a single threaded owner, you will own the global Career Choice narrative and messaging strategy end-to-end. That means building and maintaining messaging pillars, creating and distributing success stories across internal and external channels (OIC, News in 90, A to Z TV, aboutamazon.com, PR), and leading marketing campaigns for program enhancements, new country launches, and employer partnerships. You will set content guardrails, manage approval workflows, and coordinate with PR, Policy, AXU, and country teams to ensure consistent, high-quality storytelling worldwide. You will also develop marketing materials for external employer partners and produce job transition success stories that connect Career Choice graduates with real career outcomes.<br><br>This role operates at the center of a complex stakeholder map - partnering with PR on media strategy, briefing internal channels on stories, aligning with AXU on how Career Choice ladders into the Grow Pillar narrative, and syncing with the Program Team to prevent campaign overlap. You will drive external visibility across media, social, events, education partners, employer partners, and Amazon corporate channels. The right candidate is a strategic storyteller who can operate at the 30,000-foot narrative level and the ground-level content calendar in the same week. You thrive in a matrixed environment, bring a track record of driving measurable external visibility for a workforce or education program, and know how to move fast while keeping messaging tight.<br><br>Key job responsibilities<br><br>Own and maintain the global Career Choice narrative, messaging pillars, and positioning<br>Create and curate success stories globally across internal and external channels<br>Lead global marketing campaigns for program launches, enhancements, and country expansions<br>Build and manage a global content calendar and distribution strategy<br>Set and enforce content and communications guardrails across all Career Choice marketing<br>Coordinate with PR on media strategy, press releases, and spokesperson preparation<br>Partner with AXU to ensure Career Choice stories ladder into the Together at Amazon Grow Pillar narrative<br>Sync with the Program Team to prevent campaign overlap and ensure consistent associate-facing communications<br>Create marketing materials and success stories for external employer partners<br>Produce job transition success stories that link Career Choice graduates with career outcomes<br>Drive external visibility across media, social, events, conferences, and partner channels<br>Track and report on content performance, media coverage, and external visibility KPIs<br>Manage approval workflows and review all external-facing Career Choice content<br>Basic qualifications<br><br>7+ years of marketing, communications, or content strategy experience<br>5+ years of leading global or multi-market marketing campaigns<br>Experience building and managing narrative and messaging frameworks<br>Experience coordinating across multiple stakeholder groups (PR, policy, brand, program teams)<br>Experience creating content for both internal and external audiences at scale<br>Strong written and oral communication skills, including executive-level presentations<br>Preferred qualifications<br><br>Experience in workforce development, education, employer branding, or social impact marketing<br>Experience working with earned media, press strategy, and external communications<br>Experience managing content across multiple distribution channels simultaneously<br>Experience working with or presenting to VP-level stakeholders<br>Experience in a matrixed, global organization with country-level marketing coordination<br>Familiarity with employer partnership marketing or talent pipeline storytelling<br>
- 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience<br>- 7+ years of developing and managing acquisition marketing or channel programs experience<br>- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements<br>- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)<br>- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs<br>- Experience developing and executing campaigns across a multitude of timezones and languages

Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
