<p>The Role: </p>

<p>The Residential Drain/Sewer Technician is a key role within our department. The Residential Drain/Sewer Technician performs inspection, repairs, and installation for residential drains and sewer lines. All job duties performed by the Residential Drain/Sewer Technician must be performed with the department’s goals and objectives in mind. The Residential Drain/Sewer Technician will report to the Service Manager.</p>

<p>Responsibilities: </p>

<ul>

<li><br>Assist customers with plumbing and drainage issues</li>

<li><br>Skillfully operate diagnostic tools, including drain cameras, to evaluate sewer line conditions and formulate accurate solutions</li>

<li><br>Engage with customers to explain technical issues, propose optimal solutions, and close sales on necessary sewer upgrades or replacements.</li>

<li><br>Identifies potential problems to prevent premature and unexpected breakdowns or callbacks</li>

<li><br>Familiarity with a wide range of equipment and troubleshooting techniques</li>

<li><br>Comply with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements</li>

<li><br>Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently</li>

<li><br>Participate in safety training and adhere to all safety policies and procedures</li>

<li><br>Maintain related records concerning time, labor and materials; maintain log of tasks performed and write job reports as required</li>

<li><br>Maintain work vehicle and ensure vehicle is operated within safety standards</li>

<li><br>Occasional Saturday work depending on demand</li>

<li><br>Additional tasks and responsibilities as required to maintain efficient department operations</li>

<p>Qualifications and Skills:</p>

<ul>

<li><br>Expert knowledge of residential plumbing, drains and sewers</li>

<li><br>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li>

<li><br>Technical aptitude with knowledge of local codes</li>

<li><br>Ability to work independently with moderate direction</li>

<li><br>Knowledge of Service Titan</li>

<li><br>Ability and willingness to work occasional nights, weekends and holidays as/if required</li>

<li><br>Valid driver’s license with clean driving record</li>

<p>Education and Experience:</p>

<ul>

<li><br>3+ years Plumbing and Drain/Sewer experience in residential service</li>

<li><br>Valid driver’s license</li>

<li><br>EPA Certification</li>
