Principal Software Engineer

About the Role:

We’re looking for a Principal Software Engineers with deep expertise in .NET frameworks and proven experience building fintech products. You’ll play a key role in designing scalable systems, solving complex engineering challenges, and leading a high-performing development team. This role is ideal for someone who is technically strong, takes initiative, and communicates effectively. Experience working at a product company is a huge plus.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the architecture, development, and deployment of scalable fintech applications using the .NET tech stack.

- Own the end-to-end development cycle—from requirements gathering to implementation and delivery.

- Solve complex, real-world business problems with clean, efficient, and maintainable code.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design, and DevOps.

- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in code quality, performance, and security.

- Take initiative in improving systems, tools, and processes to drive engineering excellence.

- Participate in architectural reviews and long-term technical planning.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.

- 4–7 years of software development experience with significant hands-on experience in .NET (C#, ASP.NET http://ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework, etc.).

- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and clean architecture principles.

- Demonstrated experience working on or leading the development of fintech product(s) or platforms.

- Experience with SQL Server, REST APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms (preferably Azure).

- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to technical challenges.

- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and align teams.

- A mindset focused on ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement.
