<h2>Standard Job Description</h2>
<p>Supervises the interior completion of aircraft to include sub-assemblies, avionics, mechanics, and aircraft production sites. Ensures customer, engineering, and FAA specifications and regulations are met. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.</p><p>Responsibilities include:<br>• Supervises Production Build Process for F-16V Block 70 to include various structural components. <br>• Ensures the Safety, Quality, Cost and Schedule performance for assigned production area.<br>• Accomplishes results through lower-level subordinate production leads and employees.<br>• Identifies and implements continuous improvement initiatives that enhance cost and schedule performance.<br>• Manage all aspects of safety, quality, schedule, cost, resources, logistics/production control, equipment and process/procedure.<br>• Develop strategies to package and absorb out-of-station work, in-span to prevent disruption to normal production sequence/flow. <br>• Drive focus toward continuous process improvement, corrective action and expeditious implementation of robust, relevant corrective action plans.<br>• Recognizes and rewards superior individual performance and effectively addresses poor performance issues. <br>• Creates a culture that ensures accountability and trust while ensuring compliance with Company Policies & Procedures.<br>• Staff and manage technical proficiency levels to ensure a trained, qualified, skilled workforce. <br>• Foster customer relations building rapport and confidence between the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and our System Program Office. <br>• Help employees and the organization move effectively and efficiently through change by facilitating implementation and acceptance. <br><br>Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice.</p><h2>Basic Qualifications</h2>
<p>At least 5 years of experience in Aviation Production or Maintenance, Modification, Repair and Overhaul (MMRO) Operations. <br><br>Experience leading a team to meet critical schedules, resolve complex and/or time sensitive technical or operational issues.<br><br>Experience reading and interpreting blueprints.<br><br>Experience interacting with internal/external customers.<br><br>Experience with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.</p><h2>Desired Skills</h2>
<p>The following skills are desired but not required:<br><br>Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college <br><br>Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize assignments.<br><br>Previously awarded an Air Force, Marine, or Navy 7 level discipline skill level rating or possess equivalent civilian experience with associated credential such as an licensed FAA “Airframe and Power" plant or Inspector Airframe license.<br><br>Recent fighter aircraft experience <br><br>Ability to obtain a security clearance as required.<br><br>Ability to create and utilize metrics related to performance.<br><br>Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience.</p><p><strong>Pay Information</strong></p><p>Full-Time Salary Range: $72500.00 - $134600.00</p><p>At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.</li></ul>
