<p><br><u>Position Summary&nbsp;</u><br>The Industrial Engineering Technician/QA supports project execution by reviewing&nbsp;<br>designs, contractor submittals, fabrication drawings, and construction activities to ensure&nbsp;<br>compliance with project requirements and engineering intent.&nbsp;<br>This position blends technical engineering support with selective field verification and quality&nbsp;<br>assurance responsibilities.&nbsp;</p>

<p><br><u>Primary Responsibilities</u>&nbsp;</p>

<p><br>Technical Review&nbsp;<br>● Review structural plans, specifications, and design packages for constructability.&nbsp;<br>● Review contractor submittals, steel fabrication drawings, reinforcing steel shop drawings,&nbsp;<br>calculations, and material certifications.&nbsp;<br>● Evaluate Requests for Information and provide technical recommendations.&nbsp;<br>● Assist in resolution of structural conflicts encountered during construction.&nbsp;<br>● Review temporary support systems and erection sequencing plans.&nbsp;</p>

<p><br>Construction Support&nbsp;<br>● Participate in design review meetings and construction coordination sessions.&nbsp;<br>● Assist with schedule reviews related to fabrication and erection activities.&nbsp;<br>● Support review of as-built documentation.&nbsp;</p>

<p><br>Quality Assurance&nbsp;<br>● Conduct field inspections as required to verify compliance with approved drawings and&nbsp;<br>specifications.&nbsp;<br>● Verify installation of structural steel, concrete reinforcement, anchors, embeds, and&nbsp;<br>miscellaneous metals.&nbsp;<br>● Review concrete testing reports and welding inspection documentation.&nbsp;<br>● Assist with punch list development and final acceptance activities.&nbsp;</p>

<p><br>Minimum Qualifications&nbsp;<br>● Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Civil Engineering&nbsp;<br>Technology.&nbsp;<br>● Minimum five years of experience supporting industrial, federal, manufacturing, or heavy&nbsp;<br>civil construction projects.&nbsp;<br>● Experience reviewing structural submittals, fabrication drawings, and engineering&nbsp;<br>calculations.&nbsp;<br>● Familiarity with AISC, ACI, AWS, and ICC standards.&nbsp;<br>● Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.&nbsp;</p>

<p><br>Nice To Have<br>● EIT Certification&nbsp;<br>● OSHA 30&nbsp;<br>● USACE CQM Certification&nbsp;<br>● Experience supporting lock and dam, power generation, or heavy industrial projects.&nbsp;</p>
