Head of Infrastructure

<p>JustMarkets is looking for an experienced <strong>Head of Infrastructure</strong> to lead our engineering operations and maintain a highly loaded, globally distributed trading infrastructure. In this role, you will be solving complex architectural challenges within our hybrid platform, bridging our on-premise trading core (Windows, MetaTrader) with an evolving Linux and Cloud-native ecosystem. You will drive infrastructure automation, as well as lead, mentor, and scale a team of highly skilled engineers.</p>

<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Manage team capacity, resource allocation, and establish effective 24/7 on-call rotation processes for incident response.</li>

<li>Take ownership of the infrastructure budget (FinOps), optimizing cloud costs across AWS, Azure, and Alibaba</li>

<li>Lead, mentor, and scale a team of DevOps and Site Reliability Engineers</li>

<li>Define the hiring strategy, interview candidates, and scale the infrastructure team as the business grows.</li>

<li>Set up, maintain, and ensure the high availability of the global trading infrastructure.</li>

<li>Guide the architectural vision of our hybrid infrastructure, balancing established on-premise trading cores with scalable Cloud-Native environments.</li>

<li>Build and maintain comprehensive platform solutions tailored for our software development teams або&nbsp;</li>

<li>Drive the automation of infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible) and build robust CI/CD pipelines.</li>

<li>Implement and maintain enterprise-level network information security, including DDoS mitigation and infrastructure hardening.</li>

<li>Collaborate closely with Engineering teams, Product Owners, and C-level stakeholders to align infrastructure roadmaps with business goals.</li>

<li>Draw up documentation, disaster recovery plans, and instructions for infrastructure operations.</li>

</ul>

<p><strong>Requirements&nbsp;</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>8+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, System Administration, or Infrastructure Engineering in high-load environments.</li>

<li>3+ years of proven experience in a leadership role (managing teams of 20+ engineers).</li>

<li>Solid experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Alibaba Cloud) and understanding of global network routing.</li>

<li>Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with IaC (Terraform, Ansible) and managing CI/CD pipelines.</li>

<li>Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and a desire to drive Cloud-Native transformation.</li>

<li>Strong background in network information security and implementing monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).</li>

<li>Solid experience in administrating relational databases (MySQL).</li>

<li>English level: Upper-Intermediate or higher (crucial for stakeholder management and technical documentation).</li>

</ul>

<p><strong>Will be a plus&nbsp;</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Experience in the FinTech, CFD domain, or High-Frequency Trading.</li>

<li>Experience managing and scaling MetaTrader (MT4/MT5) server environments.</li>

<li>Expertise in configuring and managing Windows Server environments and proficiency in PowerShell<strong> </strong>scripting.&nbsp;</li>

<li>Proficiency in one or more programming languages</li>

<li>Experience with PostgreSQL databases.</li>

<li>Experience working with enterprise network architectures (BGP, bare-metal servers) and geo-distributed latency optimization.</li>
