We're currently hiring an Experienced HDD Locator for our Red Deer-based operations, and we want someone who takes that responsibility seriously.</p>

<p>What You'll Own on Site</p>

<ul>

<li>Full locate responsibilities on active HDD telecom bores from start to finish</li>

<li>Operating SubSite locating equipment to track and guide drill heads in real time</li>

<li>Working in direct, ongoing communication with Ditch Witch drill operators throughout each bore</li>

<li>Identifying utility conflicts, flagging hazards, and making real-time course corrections</li>

<li>Verifying bore depth, alignment, and path against project requirements</li>

<li>Keeping accurate field records and supporting as-built documentation</li>

<li>Helping maintain a site culture where safety is non-negotiable</li>

</ul>

<li>Substantial hands-on experience using SubSite locating systems — not just familiarity, but proficiency</li>

<li>A track record of working alongside Ditch Witch HDD equipment on live telecom or utility projects</li>

<li>The ability to read ground conditions and make confident, informed locating decisions</li>

<li>All certifications fully current and confirmed valid before your first shift — this is mandatory</li>

<li>Clear communicator who works well under pressure and within a team</li>
