<p>As a Senior Accountant at Easy Street Capital, you will convert detailed loan-level data from multiple sources into timely, GAAP-compliant financial statements. We are looking for a highly organized and driven individual to join our Accounting Team at the premier private lender in Texas. You’ll get to work at a fun, fast-paced, and growing company in our vibrant downtown office.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Responsibilities will be focused on financial&nbsp;reporting, while&nbsp;also&nbsp;providing cross-functional support to operational teams and&nbsp;seeking&nbsp;to proactively add value&nbsp;to&nbsp;the Easy Street Capital debt platform.&nbsp;</p>

Responsibilities:

<li>Be an&nbsp;essential&nbsp;part of our month-end close process by&nbsp;recording&nbsp;journal entries, preparing account reconciliations, conducting flux analyses, and ensuring close is&nbsp;completed&nbsp;timely&nbsp;and accurately&nbsp;</li>

<li>Be a key player&nbsp;in identifying&nbsp;process improvements to streamline close and build scalable solutions to support the growth of&nbsp;Easy Street Capital&nbsp;</li>

<li>Contribute to external audits and ensure compliance with internal controls</li>

<li>Compile&nbsp;support for various tax filings and own assigned regulatory reporting tasks&nbsp;</li>

<li>Assist&nbsp;in&nbsp;researching&nbsp;technical accounting&nbsp;matters&nbsp;</li>

<li>Prepare ad hoc financial analysis&nbsp;and reporting in support of Leadership</li>

Qualifications:

<li>Bachelor’s in Accounting&nbsp;required; CPA&nbsp;or public accounting experience (preferred)</li>

<li>3+ years of accounting experience (required); prior real estate or financial service industry experience specifically related to&nbsp;&nbsp;FinTechs, residential or mortgage loans, or securitization trusts (preferred)</li>

<li>Proficiency in Excel is required (there is a test); experience with BI tools exposure to SQL, middleware applications, and/or data science (preferred)&nbsp;</li>

<li>Prior experience working with QuickBooks (strongly preferred)</li>

<li>Previous&nbsp;technical accounting experience in&nbsp;any of&nbsp;the&nbsp;following&nbsp;areas&nbsp;is a plus:&nbsp;revenue recognition (ASC 606), servicing and transfers (ASC 860), consolidations (ASC 810), FVO (ASC 825), and/or equity and equity-linked financial instruments (ASC 480)&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
