<h2>Standard Job Description</h2>

<p>Initiates action to obtain purchased/fabricated spare parts, assemblies, nonproductive supplies, materials or other various products from stockrooms, floor stock, line flow storage, accumulation areas, cribs or the aircraft, where it is required to exercise a knowledge of procedures, policies and documents relating to assembly line operations, material review booth, production control, order writing, material inspection, planning, material and spares; controls the flow of all types of items and documents to ensure the scheduled completion of items; accelerates the completion and movement of all types of items as warranted by Company or customer emergencies; assigns priorities in accordance with scheduling and production requirements and advises responsible personnel of behind-schedule status of items due to such conditions as part or material shortages, rejections, lost-in-shop items, engineering and customer changes or vendor failure to meet commitments; recommends and requests necessary authorizations to initiate item rework, material substitutions and scheduling changes in the solution of shortages. Reviews and verifies quantities of materials for accuracy.<br><br>Prepares all required reports and forms and performs other related clerical duties.<br><br>Requests transportation or handling equipment to transport materials to and from shop areas, loads, unloads, and moves materials as required, utilizing proper material handling procedures; operates state-of-the-art and conventional office and warehouse equipment such as electric forklifts, tugs and scooters. <br><br>Packs parts, assemblies, supplies and materials, properly identifies, and ships in accordance with Company, customer or government specifications and requirements.<br><br>Performs various material handling tasks in support of material movement that may require a single person and/or two persons lifting of small, medium, and large components compliant with safety guidelines.<br><br>Procures necessary blueprints, change notices, tooling materials, etc., to assure workability of orders.<br><br>Ability to obtain and maintain Company licenses, certifications, and training as required for assigned tasks as required by the Company or governmental agencies.<br><br>NOTE: This job incorporates various duties previously described in the following classifications:<br>7513 Spares Dispatcher<br>6603 Assembly/Area Dispatcher<br>8403 Procured Parts Dispatcher<br>7363 Material Liaison Investigator<br><br>**Must be able to work any shift and any work schedule**<br><br>Must possess a valid California Driver’s License.<br><br></p><h2>Basic Qualifications</h2>

<p>Must have a minimum of two years of working experience in material handling.<br><br>Must be able to demonstrate a knowledge or have completed entry level blueprint.</p><h2>Desired Skills</h2>
