<p>Our client is a growing commercial real estate owner and operator seeking an experienced Vice President of Property Management to lead and elevate its in-house property management platform. Reporting directly to the CEO and COO, this executive will oversee day-to-day property operations while building the infrastructure, processes, and leadership necessary to support the company's continued growth.</p>

<p>This is a highly visible leadership role for someone who thrives in entrepreneurial environments and enjoys creating scalable systems, mentoring high-performing teams, and driving operational excellence. The ideal candidate combines strong commercial property management expertise with executive leadership capabilities and a strategic, business-minded approach.</p>

<p>Retail commercial real estate experience is preferred, and advanced Yardi experience is required.</p>

What You'll Do

<h3><strong>Executive Leadership &amp; Strategy</strong></h3>

<p>Partner with the CEO and COO to establish operational strategy and portfolio performance goals.</p>

<p>Lead and develop the company's property management function, creating scalable processes and operational standards.</p>

<p>Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the organization.</p>

<li>

<p>Establish key performance indicators (KPIs), reporting standards, and operational best practices that support long-term growth.</p>

</li>

<li>

<p>Serve as a trusted advisor and member of the executive leadership team.</p>

</li>

<h3><strong>Property Management Leadership</strong></h3>

<ul>

<p>Oversee a portfolio of commercial assets, ensuring operational excellence, tenant satisfaction, and asset preservation.</p>

</li>

<li>

<p>Directly manage, mentor, and develop a team of Property Managers while fostering professional growth and accountability.</p>

</li>

<li>

<p>Ensure consistent execution of property operations, maintenance programs, capital projects, inspections, and risk management initiatives.</p>

</li>

<li>

<p>Drive tenant retention through exceptional customer service and proactive relationship management.</p>

</li>

<h3><strong>Financial &amp; Operational Performance</strong></h3>

<ul>

<p>Oversee annual operating budgets, forecasts, capital expenditures, and operating expense management.</p>

</li>

<li>

<p>Review CAM reconciliations, tenant billings, rent collections, delinquencies, and financial performance across the portfolio.</p>

</li>

<li>

<p>Analyze operational and financial trends to identify opportunities for increased efficiency and asset performance.</p>

</li>

<li>

<p>Partner closely with accounting, leasing, ownership, and executive leadership to maximize portfolio value.</p>

</li>

<h3><strong>Lease Administration &amp; Compliance</strong></h3>

<ul>

<p>Provide executive oversight of commercial lease administration, including amendments, renewals, assignments, estoppels, SNDAs, and related legal documentation.</p>

</li>

<li>

<p>Interpret lease provisions and ensure compliance while identifying operational, financial, and legal risks.</p>

</li>

<li>

<p>Maintain accurate lease abstracting and documentation within Yardi.</p>

</li>

<li>

<p>Collaborate with leasing teams, legal counsel, ownership, and tenants on lease-related matters.</p>

</li>

<h3><strong>Reporting &amp; Process Improvement</strong></h3>

<p>Develop executive-level reporting packages that provide meaningful insights into portfolio performance.</p>

</li>

<li>

<p>Establish standardized dashboards, operational metrics, delinquency reporting, tenant retention analytics, and financial reporting.</p>

</li>

<li>

<p>Design and implement policies, procedures, and workflows that improve consistency, efficiency, and organizational scalability.</p>

</li>

<li>

<p>Ensure integrity and accuracy of operational, financial, and property management data.</p>

</li>

<h3><strong>Relationship Management</strong></h3>

<p>Build trusted relationships with tenants, investors, ownership groups, lenders, contractors, attorneys, and vendors.</p>

</li>

<li>

<p>Serve as the senior operational representative for ownership regarding portfolio performance.</p>

</li>

<li>

<p>Resolve complex tenant and operational issues with professionalism, sound judgment, and a solutions-oriented approach.</p>

What We're Looking For

<ul>

<p>Bachelor's degree required.</p>

</li>

<li>

<p>10+ years of commercial property management experience, including team leadership responsibility.</p>

</li>

<li>

<p>Proven success leading, mentoring, and developing high-performing property management teams.</p>

</li>

<li>

<p>Strong background managing commercial real estate portfolios; retail experience is highly preferred.</p>

</li>

<li>

<p>Advanced experience with Yardi, including reporting, lease administration, and property operations.</p>

</li>

<li>

<p>Thorough understanding of commercial leases, CAM reconciliations, budgeting, financial reporting, and capital planning.</p>

</li>

<li>

<p>Experience preparing executive-level reporting and presenting portfolio performance to senior leadership.</p>

</li>

<li>

<p>Strong business acumen with the ability to balance operational excellence and strategic decision-making.</p>

</li>

<li>

<p>Excellent communication, relationship management, and leadership skills.</p>

</li>

<li>

<p>Driver’s License Required-travel to properties within the portfolio will be required as needed.</p>
