<p>Help Build Affordable Housing Across Oregon</p>

<p>Neighborhood Building Corporation (NBC) is a nonprofit general contractor specializing in the construction and rehabilitation of affordable housing throughout Oregon.</p>

<p>We're looking for a Finance &amp; Admin Specialist to help keep our construction projects organized, on budget, and moving forward.</p>

<p><br></p>

<p>In this role, you'll manage invoices and project expenses, track financial commitments, maintain project and vendor records, and provide essential administrative support to our construction team.</p>

<p>What You'll Do</p>

<ul>

<li>Review and process invoices from subcontractors and vendors.</li>

<li>Verify invoices against contracts, purchase orders, and project requirements.</li>

<li>Code and enter expenses into accounting and financial systems.</li>

<li>Track accounts payable, receivables, project expenses, and budget commitments.</li>

<li>Prepare monthly invoices and project payment documentation.</li>

<li>Maintain vendor, subcontractor, and project files.</li>

<li>Track subcontractor compliance, including insurance, licensing, and certifications.</li>

<li>Process and track work orders, purchase orders, and change orders.</li>

<li>Coordinate project-related permits, inspections, utility incentives, and insurance documentation.</li>

<li>Maintain accurate and organized project records across multiple construction projects.</li>

<li>Provide general financial and administrative support to the NBC construction team.</li>

<p>What You'll Bring</p>

<p>We're looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing financial and administrative processes.<br></p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<p>Required:</p>

<ul>

<li>2+ years of experience in finance, accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative support.</li>

<li>Experience with accounts payable, invoicing, expense tracking, or similar financial processes.</li>

<li>Strong Excel and spreadsheet skills.</li>

<li>Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.</li>

<li>Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.</li>

<li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently while collaborating with a team.</li>

<li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li>

<li>Valid driver's license and ability to meet company auto insurance requirements.</li>

</ul>

<p>Preferred:</p>

<ul>

<li>Associate degree or coursework in finance, accounting, or a related field.</li>

<li>Experience in construction, project management, or affordable housing.</li>

<li>Experience working with financial, accounting, or project management software.</li>

<li>Bilingual English/Spanish skills.</li>
