<p>GCS Group runs active telecom HDD crews out of Red Deer and we need an Intermediate Telecom HDD Locator who can hold their own on a busy job site. At this level we're looking for someone who has moved past the basics — you know SubSite, you've worked alongside drill operators, and you can manage a locate from start to finish without constant direction.</p>

<p>Key Responsibilities</p>

<ul>

<li>Independently execute locate duties on telecom HDD bores across central Alberta</li>

<li>Set up, calibrate, and operate SubSite locating systems on each bore</li>

<li>Maintain active communication with Ditch Witch drill operators throughout bore operations</li>

<li>Identify utility conflicts and ground anomalies and communicate them immediately</li>

<li>Record bore data accurately and support field documentation requirements</li>

<li>Provide guidance to junior locators on site regarding equipment and procedures</li>

</ul>

<p>What We're Looking For</p>

<ul>

<li>Solid field experience in HDD locating on telecom or utility construction projects</li>

<li>Proven hands-on competency with SubSite locating technology</li>

<li>Comfortable working in coordination with Ditch Witch drill crews</li>

<li>All certifications must be current and verified prior to your start date</li>

<li>Self-directed with strong situational awareness on active construction sites</li>

<li>Valid driver's licence</li>

</ul>
