Licensed Dental Assistant

We are seeking a Licensed Dental Assistant to join our dedicated team in Fairmont, MN. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative, patient-focused environment where your skills and compassion will make a real difference in the community. Pediatric experience ideal!

 

This is a part time position with a flexibility of 18-36 hours on M/T &amp; F!<br><br>Clinic Hours:

Monday &amp; Tuesday: 7-5:30 PM

Friday: 7-3:30 PM&nbsp;

Key Responsibilities

<li>Assist dentists with patient care, including chairside assistance and preparation of dental materials.</li>

<li>Take and develop dental X-rays as required.</li>

<li>Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-procedure care.</li>

<li>Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment, following infection control protocols.</li>

<li>Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in the electronic health record system.</li>

<li>Work closely with the dental team to ensure a positive patient experience.</li>

Requirements

<li>High school diploma or GED required, along with completion of an accredited dental assisting course.</li>

<li>Active Minnesota Licensed Dental Assistant (LDA) credential.</li>

<li>DANB certification or equivalent state jurisprudence qualification for specified tasks.</li>

<li>Current CPR (BLS) certification.</li>

<li>Proficiency in oral and written communication in English.</li>
