Your role We are looking for a manager for Product Management & Business Development at Product Unit Integrated Systems within the Business Unit Surface Sensor Solutions. BU Surface Sensor Solutions provides advanced radars and EW systems for land and naval applications. The business unit has a strong presence in the global defense and security markets, maintains close relationships with customers, and engages in rewarding international collaborations. As a manager, you will oversee a team of product managers and bid managers. You and your team will be responsible for defining and developing the Product Unit’s market offering and winning new business. You will be part of the PU Integrated Systems Management team and an important contributor to our product and business strategy. Your team will consist of 5-10 employees, and your team will also drive Business Development including Sales & Operations Planning for the PU. Your profile We are looking for a person with a passion for our products and a strong belief in the competence and commitment of our employees. As a manager, you will demonstrate strong communicative leadership skills to create commitment and energy within the organization. Your ability to establish a performance-driven culture within your unit will be important. You should have an interest in technology and a desire to continuously develop our products and improve customer satisfaction. Surface Sensor Solutions is on a strong growth trajectory, and as a leader, you are expected to drive continuous improvements and identify new operational opportunities to enable our growth. We also want you to have competence and experience in the majority of the following areas: You have leadership experience with a focus on business and customer understanding. You have a good financial understanding and experience in project management and/or product management. You are a driven individual with strong social skills and a willingness to build relationships both internally within Saab and externally. You have the ability to create a collaborative culture characterized by transparency, frequent feedback, respect, and trust. You are a team player willing to go the extra mile for your team and its objectives. You have excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English. This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection.
