<p>Are you ready to lead quality excellence on a high-visibility, cutting-edge program within Lockheed Martin’s Advanced Development Programs (ADP)? &nbsp;We’re seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to support manufacturing planning development and production operations for the Vectis Family of Systems Portfolio.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<br>In this influential role, your key responsibilities will include:</p><ul><li>Apply quality principles in the areas of design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation, program performance, reliability, inventory control, and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality for make and/or buy products.</li><li>Conduct detailed data analysis (quality and cost), root cause investigations, and lead the implementation and validation of corrective and preventive actions.&nbsp;</li><li>Perform technical evaluations including product requirements, specifications, models/designs, drawings and procedures.</li><li>Design and analyze inspection and testing processes, mechanisms and equipment</li><li>Collaborate with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and customers on quality related issues to ensure quality standards are in place.</li><li>Evaluate quality systems for deficiency identification and correction.</li><li>Conduct product quality tests, performs statistical analysis to assess products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications.</li></ul><p>The position is intended to be a catalyst for program initiatives to reduce scrap, rework and repair, including improving quality inspection systems, reducing internal and external escapes, and ensuring production/quality process compliance.<br><br></p><h2>Basic Qualifications</h2>

<ul><li>Bachelor's Degree in STEM field</li><li>Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, 3D models and specifications</li><li>Experience with developing inspection criteria and familiarization with inspection tools and methods</li><li>Experience with validating accuracy of manufacturing work instructions, visual aids, accept/reject guides, tool set up instructions and test procedures.</li><li>Experience using basic Quality Engineering tools including:<br>&nbsp;- Failure Modes and Effect Analysis (FMEA)<br>&nbsp;- Cause Maps<br>&nbsp;- Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA)</li><li>Experience working in a manufacturing environment</li></ul><p>5+ years professional experience</p><h2>Desired Skills</h2>

<ul><li>Experience with: Catia, 3DX or XVE&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Experience with Internal surveillance (PCS/PBS/PPV)</li><li>Inspection methods (MSA, gage R&amp;R)&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>SPC, KC management (design and process KCs)&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Metrics development; data analytics&nbsp;</li><li>Process improvement tools (DMAIC, Six Sigma, RedX)&nbsp;or Black/Green Belt Certification</li><li>GD&amp;T experience</li><li>&nbsp;Design for manufacturing&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Knowledge of AS9100 Quality Management System Requirements.&nbsp;</li><li>AS9145 Experience</li><li>Full Scale Determinant Assembly</li></ul><p><strong>Pay Information</strong></p><p>Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00</p><p>At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.</li></ul>
