<h2>Standard Job Description</h2>
<p>Provide bug fixes, enhancements, and Graphical User Interface (GUI) improvements to applications to meet operational requirements.<br>Develop and modify application source code, in response to new requirements and requests for change.<br>Develop and deploy software, including in cloud environments.<br>Integrate externally developed code into core libraries.<br>Install and configure application software.<br>Evaluate third party vendors and software partners<br>Design and develop Representational State Transfer (REST) Application Program Interfaces (APIs)<br>Maintain design of software libraries, including the definition of module APIs, code organization, and compliance in coding standards. This work will emphasize modularity of the libraries, re-use of common code, clean interfaces between the subsystems and integrity of design.<br>Work with the configuration manager to ensure the integration of externally developed software into core software libraries<br>Develop, as assigned, a wide range of software to run on the Sponsor’s networks. The software libraries include but are not limited to audio/video, image processing algorithms, OS and file systems, and device drivers.</p><p><br>Assisting the Sponsor in developing specific standards, methods, or procedures to determine product quality release or release readiness<br>Conduct testing at all levels of the software development life cycle, to include regression testing, and adhere to strict testing procedures<br>Provide metrics on software availability and reliability during monthly status review.<br>Bachelor’s degree or higher in the field of computer science, information systems, engineering, mathematics, or other related scientific or technical discipline</p><h2>Basic Qualifications</h2>
<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or higher in the field of computer science, information systems, engineering, mathematics, or other related scientific or technical discipline.</li><li>Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in software engineering or related Masters degree</li><li>Demonstrated experience in 3 of the following: developing in .NET, Visual Basic, Java, Java Script, Tomcat, SQL, XML, Python, HTML, LDAP certificates, Apace, and Ruby</li><li>Collectively as a team, demonstrated experience in all of the following: developing in .NET, Visual Basic, Java, Java Script, Tomcat, SQL, XML, Python, HTML, LDAP certificates, Apace, and Ruby.</li><li>Demonstrated experience with full lifecycle agile software development projects and software issue tracking tools such as JIRA</li></ul><h2>Desired Skills</h2>
<ul><li>Demonstrated experience developing Android applications</li><li>Demonstrated experience designing, developing and maintain applications within AWS/Sponsor cloud computing services</li><li>Working knowledge of GIS software to include Google Maps and Google Earth</li><li>Demonstrated experience with Continuous Software Development and Software Integration best practices</li><li>Demonstrated experience working with Information Security (INFOSEC) and Information Assurance (IA) policies such as ICD503 to ensure systems security and data integrity</li><li>Demonstrated experience deploying the complete DevOps lifecycle including integration of build pipelines, automated deployments, and compliance scanning using test driven development.</li></ul><p>#LMSpaceCyberEng</p><p><strong>Pay Information</strong></p><p>Full-Time Salary Range: $91200.00 - $169400.00</p><p>At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.</li></ul>
