Responsable technique ACS & Platform (m/f)

Job Description:

Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a Tech Lead ACS & Platform (m/f) to join our TCAAO - Optical Operations department based in Toulouse, France. 

You will be part of a team involved in the operational and commercial exploitation of some of the most highly-performing Earth observation satellites on the market (SPOT, Pléiades, CO3D). Within the TCAAO3 team, you will be involved in Platform Engineering activities and managing the technical consistency of ACS components, aimed at accelerating the software lifecycle and the provisioning of digital infrastructures.

Your challenges:

• Define the technical architecture of ACS components and their integration roadmap within Platform Engineering services.
• Collaborate with IT teams to maintain underlying infrastructures and participate in assessing their evolutions.
• Supervise supplier developments and improve the software delivery process (automation, integration of GenAI Code Assistant).
• Contribute to the RUN of all components, including operational support, on-call duties, and writing operational procedures.
• Ensure the overall technical consistency of solutions related to connectivity, data transfer, and notifications.

Your profile:

• Min 5 years of professional experience 
• Strong knowledge of containerization solutions, orchestration (Kubernetes), and Cloud technologies
• Proficiency in DevOps practices and proven experience with Agile methodologies
• Fluent in French and English

This position requires a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.

The candidate must hold French nationality in accordance with IGI 1300 of August 9, 2021 (§1.2.2.1).
