Follows approved life cycle methodologies, creates design documents, and performs program coding and testing. Resolves technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and at least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.<br></p><p></p><p><br></p>

<p><b>Position Comments:</b></p><p>- 9-10 years’ experience developing Java applications</p><p>- 3-5 years’ experience or deep understanding of Python</p><p>- 3+ years’ experience developing J2EE web applications using spring framework</p><p>- 2+ years developing RESTful services</p><p></p><p>-The contractor resources will be used to build web services based upon Hadoop data environments</p><p>- They are building a new Recommendation System for Sales Associates to use. Instead of Sales Associates using their intuition to make recommendations to customers, this will use data assets to assist the sales process</p>
