HR Partner, Corp HRP

The HR Partner role in our HR Partner Team is focusing on the manager experience. You can expect to do the following in your day-to-day:<br>• Influence change and foster an environment of inclusion for our managers and employees<br>• Problem solving and influencing in diverse populations<br>• Working in a fast-paced and complex changing environment driven by continuous innovation<br>• Application of HR fundamentals<br>• Partnering with leaders at multiple levels of the organization to develop forward looking strategies and goals focused on the manager experience.<br><br>Key job responsibilities<br>The HRP org delivers high impact manager support to Amazon managers. In this role, you will collaborate with Amazon managers, leaders and other HR teams to innovate, implement, and deploy HR strategies from talent and performance management, compensation, employee relations and other HR functions. To thrive, you will need a flexible skill set, including the ability to pivot through various scenarios utilizing HR expertise, consulting skills, as well as the ability to connect to the bigger picture while diving deep into the details and collaborate and consult across many teams, levels, and regions.<br><br>A day in the life<br>As a HR Partner, no two days look the same, but a typical day will most likely include the following responsibilities:<br>• Consult, coach, and develop managers through decision making with empathy and sound judgement; collaborating and implementing actions on talent management processes, people development and performance management, compensation, and employee relations issues.<br>• Foster and role model an environment of inclusion for all managers and employees<br>• Advocate for managers’ needs through end-to-end experiences that help Amazon managers lead their teams effectively.<br>• Exercise high-judgement, manage through ambiguity and serve as first point of escalation for employee concerns.<br>• Support manager queries and situations with discretion and expertise, navigating Amazon Policies and applying high judgement as necessary.<br>• Actively promote adoption of technology and self-service.<br>• Collaborate and influence multiple levels of the organization, ranging from managers to senior leaders.<br>• Conduct difficult workplace investigations in collaboration with ER.

- Bachelor's degree or above in Human Resources, Human Resources Management, Labor Relations, Business/Management, Psychology, or a related field<br>- 5+ years of human resource generalist experience<br>- Speak, write, and read fluently in Japanese at a business level or above (N1+)

- Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities, or experience working with customers with a passion for delivering exceptional service<br>- Experience prioritizing and handling multiple assignments at any given time while maintaining commitment to deadlines, or experience completing complex tasks quickly with little to no guidance and react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround<br>- Experience working with fast-moving, high-performance teams and driving innovative solutions tailored to unique business environments<br>- Experience mentoring, coaching, and influencing colleagues, collaborators, and stakeholders<br>- Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities<br>- Experience with labor/employee relations<br>- Ability to demonstrate high-judgement, empathy, autonomy, and flexibility<br><br>Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
