Pool and Beach Attendant

<p>Position Statement: </p>

<p>Responsible for overseeing all activities in pool areas and ensures compliance to all safety rules and regulations and monitors all persons entering the pool area.</p>

<p>Position Summary:</p>

<ul>

<li><br>Greet all arriving guests based on company standards. </li>

<li><br>Escort guests to requested seating, assisting with chairs and umbrellas if necessary. </li>

<li><br>Record guests’ towel information and operational sheet and give to supervisor at the end of the shift. </li>

<li><br>Set up towels, ashtrays, tables, or other service items guests require. </li>

<li><br>Coordinate with all necessary departments to provide superior guest service and to fulfill guest requests.</li>

<li><br>Interact with and assist guests throughout the shift to ensure guest satisfaction.</li>

<li><br>Replenish and empty towel stations as necessary.</li>

<li><br>Stock and place towel bins in designated areas. </li>

<li><br>Return clean terry from laundry daily. </li>

<li><br>Clear used towels, ashtrays, trash and other used items on the Pool Deck, Beach, and Roof Top Pool.</li>

<li><br>Take garbage to compactor and soiled towels to laundry. </li>

<li><br>Ensure that the swimming pool, furniture, and facilities are in proper working condition.</li>

<li><br>Maintain required cleanliness standards for the pool deck or beach areas and all surrounding areas.</li>

<li><br>Perform periodic detailed cleaning of deck furniture, beach furniture and tables. </li>

<li><br>Use swimming pool vacuum cleaners to clean the pool floor.</li>

<li><br>Use telescopic pole with net to clean and remove any leafs or debris.</li>

<li><br>Maintains the pool and beach facilities in accordance with the standards of the hotel.</li>

<li><br>Enhances activities in the Pool/Beach Area.</li>

<li><br>Ensures the safety of all guests while using the pool and beach facilities</li>

<li><br>Cleans, prepares, and readiness all equipment, amenities and facilities for service of pool/beach and areas.</li>

<li><br>Ensures all equipment, amenities and accessories are arranged and available e.g. pool/beach chair towels; etc.</li>

<li><br>Reports any soliciting at the pool and beach area to security immediately. </li>

<li><br>Reports any damaged equipment and potential hazards in order to have them corrected or removed immediately.</li>

<li><br>Ensure pool hut is adequately stocked with towels.</li>

<li><br>Ensures cabanas and pool and beach furniture are cleaned and in order.</li>

<li><br>Ensure that used towels are taken to Housekeeping for cleaning and replenish towel stock at Towel Hut.</li>

<li><br>Ensure that housekeeping is notify that daily checks of pool, surrounding garbage containers and overall check of pool deck have been completed.</li>

<li><br>Check and report any signs of corrosion, cracks or leaks in the pool walls or floors.</li>

<li><br>Turnover all items left at the pools and beach to Lost and Found immediately and notify supervisor.</li>

<li><br>Enforce safety protocols as set out by the resort or hotel.</li>

<li><br>Monitor the activity of guests and ensure their safety.</li>

<li><br>Report any damage or incidents to the supervisor immediately.</li>

<li><br>Completely set up and breakdown pool and beach furniture and equipment for events or weather as instructed by management. </li>

<li><br>Properly store equipment and furniture in designated areas. </li>

<li><br>Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the Basement and Public Areas as directed. </li>

<li><br>Execute Emergency procedures from time to time. </li>

<li><br>Ensure your workspace is cleaned and sanitized as directed by Goldwynn. (These processes may change from time to time based on seasonality or recommendations from Health and Safety.)</li>

<li><br>Have sound knowledge of all facilities and services offered by the property.</li>

<li><br>Practice good hygiene prior to reporting to work and when returning to your assigned workstation. This includes, but is not limited to: washing your hands, avoid touching your face, limiting unnecessary physical contact with others, coughing/sneezing into a tissue or the inside of your elbow, and disinfecting frequently used items and surfaces in your work area as directed by Management using company provided cleaning products. </li>

<li><br>Wear company issued Personal Protective Equipment such as masks or gloves from time to time as directed by Goldwynn. </li>

<li><br>Always comply with Goldwynn standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations. </li>

<li><br>Perform any reasonable duties as required. </li>

<li><br>To carry out any reasonable tasks requested by the Pool and Beach Supervisor or any member of senior leadership.</li>
