We're looking for a Drainage & Subsidence Assistant to join the Auger Team, covering Newcastle and the surrounding areas. Our total package is worth £31,884.00 without overtime.

Financials

<li>Starting Salary - £28,089.10 </li>

<li>Annual Bonus - approx £2000 - £2500 </li>

<li>5.5% Pension Contribution - approx £1484 </li>

Overtime

<li>Optional weekend OT at 1.5x rate eg. 10 days would top up the package to £33,504.53</li>

The Role

<ul>

<li>Assist our experienced Engineers to complete a variety of jobs including repairs, investigations, excavations and reinstatement works </li>

<li>Work effectively with other engineers in our team as required </li>

<li>Learn all aspects of every engineering role at Auger, including how to carry out subsidence investigations</li>

<li>Specialise in one area after a year, with the opportunity to progress to Junior Engineer and, with the right development and commitment, a fully qualified Engineer</li>

<li>Communicate proactively with our Field Operations Team at HQ  </li>

</ul>

Preferred Experience

<ul>

<li>No previous experience is essential – we will provide you with all the training you need </li>

</ul>

<ul>

<li>Some experience of groundworks or preferable </li>

</ul>
