The CASQ team is looking for talented software developers to work on innovative cloud search services and prompt experiences for products like M365 Copilot and Copilot Search.&nbsp;</p><p>As a <strong>Senior Software Engineer </strong>on the MSAI team, you will have the opportunity to:</p><ul><li>Build and develop&nbsp;emerging&nbsp;M365&nbsp;copilot platform: Develop new&nbsp;features that&nbsp;enhance&nbsp;M365 Copilot chat&nbsp;and copilot search experiences.&nbsp;Improve productivity of&nbsp;enterprise&nbsp;users&nbsp;leveraging&nbsp;power of copilot through&nbsp;prompt assistance and&nbsp;Microsoft Graph entities such as&nbsp;files, emails, meetings,&nbsp;1P and 3P&nbsp;connectors.</li><li>Work on Scalable Services: Design and implement scalable software services running on thousands of servers in the cloud. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.</p><br><br><b>Responsibilities</b><br><ul><li>Design and develop search and platform features. </li><li>Operate and manage live site for substrate search&nbsp;cloud&nbsp;service.</li><li>Collaborate with the team on building a highly scalable and high-performance search stack.</li><li>Collaborate with&nbsp;product manager&nbsp;and partners to understand user requirements and design features to enable rich search experiences.</li></ul><br><br><b>Qualifications</b><br><p><strong>Required/Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.<ul><li>OR equivalent experience.</li></ul></li></ul><p><strong>Other Requirements:&nbsp;</strong>Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:</p><ul><li><strong>Microsoft Cloud Background Check:</strong> This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Demonstrated problem solving and debugging skills.</li><li>7+ year of experience in&nbsp; technical engineering experience with coding in languages&nbsp;</li><li>Specialises in performance engineering and optimisation.</li><li>Solid C++/C#/Java skills with at least&nbsp;3+&nbsp;years of C++/C#/Java programming experience. </li><li>2+ years of experience working with distributed systems in an agile development environment.</li><li>Excellent communications and cross-group collaboration skills which facilitate interactions across team.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>#CAPIDC</p> <br><p>This position will be open for a minimum of 5 days, with applications accepted on an ongoing basis until the position is filled.</p><br><br><p>Microsoft is an equal opportunity employer.
