<p>You will be the Manufacturing Painter B for the Manufacturing Coatings Team. Our team is responsible for delivering high-quality protective finishes for aerospace components.</p><p><strong>What You Will Be Doing</strong></p><p>As the Manufacturing Painter B you will be responsible for applying protective coatings, operating paint equipment, and ensuring precision in finish work.</p><p>Your responsibilities will include:</p><ul><li>Apply various protective coatings, primers, paints, inks, and finishes to detail parts and assemblies.</li><li>Operate paint equipment and facilities, following drawings, schematics, and verbal instructions.</li><li>Prepare surfaces, apply masking, and verify accuracy using precision measuring tools.</li><li>Rework parts as required and maintain a clean, orderly work area.</li><li>Document work and communicate any issues to supervisors.</li></ul><p><strong>Why Join Us</strong></p><p>We seek a detail‑oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative environment. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.</p><h2>Basic Qualifications</h2>

<p>High school degree or equivalent.<br>Must have the ability to work 1st or 2nd shift according to the collective bargaining agreement.<br>Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Secret Clearance, which requires US Citizenship.</p><h2>Desired Skills</h2>

<p>Team oriented person who has experience in Spray gun operation HVLP<br>Experience mixing coatings to exact ratios (epoxy, polyurethane, primers)<br>Knowledge of Film thickness control (mils matter in aerospace)<br>Experience with surface prep (sanding, solvent wipe, water break test)<br>Experience with masking for sharp, clean lines</p><p><strong>Pay Information&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>$27.05 - $44.85</li></ul><p>At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
