Application deadline: Sep 21, 2026<br><br>The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a skilled Delivery Consultant to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this role, you'll work closely with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet their technical requirements and business objectives. You'll be a key player in driving customer success through their cloud journey, providing technical expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.<br><br>Possessing a deep understanding of AWS products and services, as a Delivery Consultant you will be proficient in architecting complex, scalable, and secure solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of each customer. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, assess current infrastructure, and propose effective migration strategies to AWS. As trusted advisors to our customers, providing guidance on industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative solutions, you will be responsible for leading the implementation process, ensuring adherence to best practices, optimizing performance, and managing risks throughout the project.<br><br>The AWS Professional Services organization is a global team of experts that help customers realize their desired business outcomes when using the AWS Cloud. We work together with customer teams and the AWS Partner Network (APN) to execute enterprise cloud computing initiatives. Our team provides assistance through a collection of offerings which help customers achieve specific outcomes related to enterprise cloud adoption. We also deliver focused guidance through our global specialty practices, which cover a variety of solutions, technologies, and industries.<br><br>Key job responsibilities<br>- Design technical solutions for enterprise customers by assessing their current state maturity, requirements, and desired business and technical outcomes, applying your expertise in cloud computing architecture and system design.<br>- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, partners, and customer stakeholders to deliver solutions that address complexity, scale, and performance requirements while identifying and mitigating risks to keep engagements on track.<br>- Guide customers in their decisions on technology strategy, technical architecture, and investments, communicating the value of cloud adoption to technical and business audiences at various levels.<br>- Contribute to presales and delivery activities, including defining metrics aligned with intended business outcomes, staffing delivery consultants, and establishing governance structures to ensure smooth project execution.<br>- Develop reusable technical content such as reference architectures, whitepapers, and best practices, and mentor team members while participating in recruitment and onboarding efforts.<br><br>A day in the life<br>You might start your morning reviewing a customer's architecture design, refining it based on new requirements gathered during a working session. By midday, you could be leading a technical deep-dive with a customer's engineering team, walking through trade-offs around scalability and maintainability. In the afternoon, you may shift to a presales engagement, collaborating with sales counterparts to scope a solution for a prospective customer. - 3+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience<br>- Knowledge of the primary aws services (ec2, elb, rds, route53 &amp; s3)<br>- Experience implementing AWS services in a variety of distributed computing environments

- 5+ years of IT implementation experience<br>- degree in advanced technology, or AWS Professional level certification<br>- Knowledge of AWS services including compute, storage, networking, security, databases, machine learning, and serverless technologies<br>- Knowledge of security and compliance standards including HIPAA and GDPR<br>- Experience and technical expertise (design and implementation) in cloud computing technologies<br>- Experience leading the design, development and deployment of business software at scale or recent hands-on technology infrastructure, network, compute, storage, and virtualization experience<br>- Experience in performance optimization and cost management for cloud environments<br>- Experience presenting technical solutions to diverse audiences in pre-sales environments<br><br>Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.<br><br>Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
