<p><strong>Veterinary Technician</strong></p>

<p><strong>Salary: </strong>$22 - $25 per hour, determined by the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications.<br></p>

<p><strong>Schedule: </strong>This is a full-time position. Monday through Friday, rotating 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. Rotating Saturdays 8:00 am to 1:00 PM</p>

<p><strong>Festival Veterinary Clinic is hiring a full-time&nbsp;Registered </strong><strong>Veterinary Technician</strong>&nbsp;to&nbsp;provide skilled care to our patients and exceptional service to our clients. Our ideal candidate has experience in animal care, client communication, and veterinary procedures, with a passion for improving the lives of pets and their owners.&nbsp;</p>

<p>&nbsp;<strong>Key&nbsp;Responsibilities: </strong>&nbsp;</p>

<ul>

<li>Support veterinarians with patient care, exams, surgery, anesthesia, and recovery.</li>

<li>Safely handle and restrain animals with compassion.</li>

<li>Communicate clearly with clients, including care instructions and status updates</li>

<li>Perform technical duties such as lab work, radiographs, injections, and IV catheter placement.</li>

<li>Maintain accurate medical records and assist with medication dispensing.</li>

<li>Help keep exam rooms, treatment areas, and equipment clean, stocked, and ready.</li>

<li>Follow hospital, safety, and regulatory guidelines at all times.&nbsp;</li>

</ul>

<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong>&nbsp;</p>

<ul>

<li>Must hold a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) certification in Maryland.</li>

<li>Ability to handle animals safely and compassionately.</li>

<li>Knowledgeable about common disease states and able to alert veterinarians to changes in patient conditions.</li>

<li>Familiarity with DEA, OSHA, and hospital safety guidelines.&nbsp;</li>
